I got a new kitten, Fiona, 6 weeks old. I already have a 6 month old male, Zeus, who is energetic and crazy. He attacks Fiona and seems to be hurting her. I don't know how to get him to stop. She is so fragile and I am constantly watching Zeus like a hawk just to make sure he is not killing her. Could it be possible that after he gets fixed he will calm down with her? Or could it be a territorial thing since he was in the home first?

When you think he's getting too rough with her, shout for him to stop. Or clap your hands loudly. If necessary use a squirt gun. Oftentimes cats play very rough, and she may not actually be getting hurt. But still, as with human children, sometimes an excess of "fun" leads to a smaller one getting hurt. Yes, he will probably mellow a little after getting fixed, but the issue may continue.
