Oh man, today keeps getting worse. First I went to German. I had to take a quiz that I didn't really understand. My teacher would also not accept yesterday's homework even though I was out sick with a 102 degree fever. Then I realized I needed ink to print out papers due tonight for another class. Staples is 15 blocks from school. I walked in the 42 degree weather and pouring rain to staples and realized I don't know my printer model and couldn't get the ink. Then I had to walk home and after 20 minutes in the pouring freezing rain I just feel more sick than ever. Not to mention, I have to look up the printer ink now and go back to get it. Oh, did I mention I don't own an umbrella?

Gini, I'm sorry you're having such a yuck day. Please, stop into a Duane Reade and buy an umbrella. [note: Duane Reade = drugstore that seems to exists on every corner in NYC].

Oh, Gini - you sure don't need to be out in bad weather. Actually, you need to be in bed with a hot water bottle... or a kitty.
We just came back from the warehouse where the Texas Size Garage sale will be starting tomorrow for Meals-on-Wheels. We are both working as "wrappers" in the antique section, which is where we've worked for four years now. We went to lay out our wrapping paper, get sacks ready, etc. for tomorrow. But then I made the bad mistake of looking around and so came home with stuff that I really don't need. I'm a sucker for handmade pottery and I found a beautiful casserole dish for $10. And a few other things. Mr. WWM just looked at me and shook his head. When we got home I was sort of rearranged drawers in the kitchen and found a whole set of cutlery that we bought at the sale two years ago but have never used. Guess what's getting donated back? Actually, it's pretty ugly and I have no clue why we bought it in the first place.

WWM, clueless in not a dwarf, but I had a cat named that! I used to day she was the dingy blonde of the cat world. All blue eyes and good looks and not a single clue! The big sale sounds like a lot of fun!
