I found out this morning from a phone message my step-mom left and an email my Dad left that my great aunt (my dad's aunt) had passed yesterday. About an hour before she passed she had said she was going to see her sister and her mom soon. She laid down to rest and around 11:30am she passed in her sleep. I had been praying to the Blessed Mother Mary for either for my great aunt to continue to have a painless life or for her to have a peaceful passing. I am glad it was a peaceful passing. She is with all her brothers and sisters now as well as her parents and other family members. She was one of nine children and the youngest. All of my elders have passed and only my father's generation is still with us. The funeral is to be either next Sat or the Friday in two weeks. She was 90 years old and her birthday would have been November 20th. Rest in peace Aunt Madeline.

Thank you all who responded. Funeral is either 10/24 or 10/30. To be determined when my Dad gets back after a few days taking care of things at her house such as paying the bills for her care in addition to many other things. Have been crying a bit at various moments.

SMM - I'm home for lunch and heading back out. I'm not allowed online at work anymore and have been crazy busy with other stuff that I barely post anymore.
My sincerest condolances to you and your family for your Aunt Madeline. Seems like your prayes to BVM were answered... how lucky for you and her! I am sure she is resting in the arms of God and being caressed by the hands that held the Saviour.
May your heart be soothed and your soul peaceful that your Aunt is home safely.
