I guess I feel I am bothering you all is because it seems that some people don't feel it is necessary to respond to my posting but they will respond to others about more trivial postings such as national shampoo day or the cheese thread. I guess I have worn out my welcome here. It was fun while it lasted. Thank you to all who have responded and for your kind words.

  6. SMM, I have sent you an email. I am so very sorry to learn of your Aunt Madelaine's passing, but grateful that it was so peaceful. I have had many hospice patients who, shortly before their death, said that they could see loved ones waiting for them. I'm so glad that she knew her family that had gone before was waiting for her.

    Of course this isn't a bother. To share is what friends and family do.
    My heartfelt sympathy to you, and to your family. Many hugs.

  8. Karin...you have to know there is no reason for you to feel like you've worn out your welcome here. You are loved. You are fully aware of what my life has been like for quite some time. If anyone was wearing out their welcome,it would be me w/all my feral goings on.

    I have to tell you...NOT one single day goes by that I don't think about you. You've made a permanent imprint & difference in my life w/your help,generosity & thoughtful comments. I don't always comment but, my business w/all the rest of my ferals & trying to get to a point of getting out of this toxic place just doesn't allow me the extra time.

    All I can do is let you know I Love You & you are in my thoughts every day. My kits are a constant reminder of what You & other TDKers have done for them & for me in the past. {{{HUGS}}}

  9. Wow that is harsh. I try to make sure that I read each thread, but I know that I do not get to them all. I will not speak for others, but I know that I am sorry for your loss and will be sorry if you decide to leave this community. You are always in my prayers.

    As for national shampoo day I missed that one altogether.

  11. SMM - some people are uncomfortable dealing with death and dying and illness. But I am sure that you were still thought of and prayed for, as was your Aunt Madeline.

  13. I missed this whole thread, I guess I wasn't online the days it was on the front page. I don't understand SMM leaving TDK over a lack of response since it seems that over 15 people responded promptly with concern and care. Many like me probably never even saw it. If people left responses under shampoo day or the cheese thread I still don't understand why that is offensive to SMM...other threads still continued even when we lost TDKers to death. For what it is worth, I'm sorry to hear of SMM's loss.

    I hope she is just grieving now, and when the most intense part of that has passed, she will realize how much we do care, and come back.

  22. i tend to miss them when i work fri , sat and sunday.. this could of easily slipped by me.. i don't look at the posts until monday late in the day .. and don't go back inless i have alot of time... gosh i wish she would come back..

  23. I know that I can't speak for the others, but I'll try anyway ;)

    I can only sneak on the computer once in a while at work (during lunch or while I'm pretending to take attendance) :) I know that they monitor our computer use, so I have to be more careful than I used to be. Nowadays, some threads seem to disappear off of the front page within an hour or two. There have been many times, though, that I purposely haven't posted on a thread because I didn't have time to post on all of the others that I felt needed a response, too. I didn't want to ruffle any feathers by posting on some threads and not some others. Does that make any sense? So, to SMM and others who have felt left out (I've felt the same way, too, and it seems that many others here have also at various times) I do offer my apologies and please know that I would never intentionally tick off a TDK member. My birth family? Now that's another story! ;)

  24. I am so sorry she left. I hope she will return. I missed this thread completely. Many times, because of my weird sleep pattern, I don't get online until 2 or 4 am and by then many of the posts have dropped off. I am so sorry SMM was hurt. I do keep all our TDK family in my prayers every single day.

  25. ... I too missed this thread, and miss SMM... I hope she comes back, we all love her!.... I wish my new job hadn't taken me away for so much, but it is what it is..... I will always love and support our TDK family, SMM is an important part!
