Thanksgiving in Miami

  1. Well I finally got my flights set for our trip and we are going to have to overnight in Miami on Thanksgiving. Does anyone from down that way have any suggestions of a great place to have Thanksgiving dinner?...or just eat in general? We'll be getting in around 4 p.m. Heck, if anyone down that way doesn't have family plans we would love to meet up for dinner with anyone who would like to get together!

  2. I got my hotel booked. Staying at the Catalina on South Beach. Anyone have any dinner ideas? Anyone, anyone? Buehler? Buehler?

  3. Awww, Kykat, If I weren't dog-sitting, I'd love to drive down and meet you! One of the independent trainers here lives in South Beach - I will ask him for a recommendation.

  7. Probably a bit over an hour.
    It will depend on whether my car can make the drive down and also whether GG wants to spend the day with me. We haven't spoken about Thanksgiving at all and I'm not sure if it's too early to be spending the holiday with him and his family.

  8. If he and his family do a lunch sort of Thanksgiving, bring him along! We are going to have to be at the airport so early that we are going to completely miss out on our family's stuff. My original plan was to fix a turkey sandwich to have on the plane, but we just found out the meal is going to be at the Aunt's house so no turkey filching for me!
