Okay, TDKer's... there has been much to be sad, disturbed, or thoroughly disgusted with of late. But it's time to celebrate life and all that we have. I will be in and out but wanted to start a "Let's be upbeat NS"!!! I have a buffet table full of Tex-Mex delights; queso, quesadillas, gorditas, tamales, guacamole - you name it. And the margarita fountain is turned ON! So come and pull up a silla (chair), kick back, take off your shoes and share your day and your dreams!

Mmmmmmmmm, margaritas, gorditas, quesadillas, and burritos; can life get better than this? Well, yeah, but I'm satisfied with this now. Oh, yeah, I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the Black Jack Taco at Taco Bell! In case you haven't gotten the 2.0, it's a taco with what I think is Taco Bell's own special Baja Sauce, encased in a blue corn taco shell, and topped with Monterey Jack cheese. Now, if only they'd make a burrito made with a blue tortilla, they'd be deep in the black (no pun intended).

Hi WWM and Vicki!.... I've had a long day, long week, but I can "see" the weekend peaking!..... (not that I don't have an entire list of things to do)..... but it makes me happy to be alive, healthy, and have a great family!....
....Hubbs is still struggling with the swine flu, but has been on the antibotic for 2 days now, and hopefully will be "un-contagious" by tomorrow pm!......
.... kids are fine, how is everyone else today? .... pass me some guac and chips please.... oh yeah, and a margarita!

....Hi Lynn, good to see you, thanks for asking about Hubbs.... poor guy is quarinteend (sp?) in our "office apartment" for 3 days.... he comes out of "jail" on Friday (tomorrow), so I'll be really glad to see him!.... good news, none of the other of us has gotten sick, and now that he's had 24 hrs of meds in him, he's feeling somewhat better, and eating....... of course, "nurse Cuddles" has been the only one to visit him, and she's given us daily reports.... LOL

Hi Av, glad you are not all sick with hubby. This seems to be a bad thing going around, 3 schools in the pa area have been shut down for 2 or more days for dissenfecting, and I am sure it will get worse, before it gets better for us here. Glad he is feeling better and stay proactive with the rest of you. Hoping hubby can come out of "jail" and enjoy his football or baseball weekend with all of you, whatever your pleasure. Wash your hands, and wishing you the best.

Slurps margarita, it's Friday afternoon. I'm busy cloud watching at the moment, I have lots of washing on the line and the weather is a bit iffy, but I prefer to dry outside if I can. Airy has stayed with Meegz several nights this week as she is working at her old job again and it was way too wet for her to drive home each night.

A margarita sounds great right about now. Rain all day at work changed to snow as I drove up the mountain and it's been snowing ever since. I held Leela outside for a few seconds and she was covered in big white snowflakes - bundt-cake kitty!

WWM I am trying to catch you contagiously happy and joyful mood! I am not doing well at it though. The pain meds help when they kick in. I have never know such pain in all my life. But you are right--I feel and that is the important thing! Now pass the chips and salsa--I know that will cure anything!

Hi, Everyone! I drifted off to watch TV - what a mental wasteland! Tomorrow I have to get up way before sparrow fart to go to the gym because we have to be at the garage sale ready to work at 9:30. Mr. WWM signed us up to work ALL day!!! WHAT was he thinking???? It's sort of fun, in a masochistic sort of way, but it's also exhausting. The plus side is that it's all for Meals-on-Wheels so that makes it worthwhile. Plus, I get such a kick out of seeing what some people will buy!
AV, I hope, hope, hope that you will be able to avoid the flu. I'll tell you, it is rampant here. We had actually planned to get the flu shot for the "regular" flu, but everyone has run out of the vaccine. So I guess we'll take our chance. We've gotten germicide, hand wipes and anything else that I could think of to take to the garage sale. Talk about a target rich environment!

You need to come out here and kick the doctors! I have to have a dye contrast ct. It is in my right kidney now too. I got the referral and the number--the hospital here has said yet again that Tricare has not authorized me! That is a load of crap! I am angry and that helps--anger can override pain at times!

KW you had a great day! Those cretins are off the street for as long as the law allows. The best part was the fact that 2 of the girls were able to face them. That Shane character didn't seem to interested in the proceedings--he yawned all the way through it! Wonder if prison will be his wake up call!
