Hope everyone has a great day..going to get some tea and do some stuff before the girls wake up. Hugs to all...hope too see you in a bit.Posted 2 years ago by cricketsmama #

I just wanted to sleep and sleep and sleep this morning! YAWN! I'll take sausage and biscuits, a LARGE mimosa and coffee...and maybe go for an omelet in a little while. I don't mind pigging out at the virtual breakfast (lol)

So my head is still leaking today. I am calling the neurosurgeon this morning. One of our nurse's looked at it and said my incision is bloody and looks infected. How can that be 5 months post op? She said I could be leaking spinal fluid too cause my squishy lump seems to be gone or almost gone.

Oh dear, MC!..... hope the incision isn't infected.... quickly says prayers and sends healing white lights.....
.....delayed going into w**k for a bit this morning, it's raining so hard, I don't want to get in the nasty traffic rush..... I'll wait til after 9am, then leave - Abby and Cuddles have both come over to tell me I'm late, LOL they know my routine, and feel it their "duty" to check on me when the "schedule" is off!...
... Morning CM, sounds like a decent night ! yay! LK and Sio, waves to you ladies too!

Happy Feral Cat Day! An unexpected winter wonderland up this way last night. Power went out during the night and apparently I need a new battery for my alarm. Fortunately, Leela stirrs around the time I normally get up.
Having a bit of hot cider this morning, and a cinnamon bun would go great with that. Oh, and where's that little calico agency kitty who wanted to play with me yesterday but she was busy working? *baby calico comes running with a cinnamon bun*Posted 2 years ago by JoanfromNewJersey #

Good Morning Joan! We had snow, sleet, rain, snow, sleet and rain yesterday. Today it is supposed to be snow flurries and our Florida fur-riends all have problems with humidity! UGH!

Yuck MC! The snow is quite pretty, and wasn't a problem on the roads, but I really don't like the cold weather.

Good morning, all! MC, that doesn't sound good about your incision being infected - hope it's nothing serious!
Joan, I'll take some snow!GG wasn't feeling good last night, so I stayed at my house. I have gotten rid of all rugs, all bedding and the whole bed, too, so I figured I should be alright. Since I didn't have a bed, I slept in a beach chair. Woke up with bites and found a stupid bed bug crawling on the beach chair. Arrrrg! I should have slept in the car instead :(
I'm dogsitting Friday and Saturday night, so that helps.
I haven't heard back from XBF about my bonus check, but depending on how much it is, I'll probably have to find anotherplace to live - not that I'm not liking staying with GG, but this is no way to live. -
A toasty TGIF to all TDKers! Mmmm, nice:Heat is on at work/keep mine turned down at home 'til mid November! Dot & Crock were both Ferals so thy are bringing in more Cinnamon Sticky Buns as a treat in honor of this special day! Hope all have a better day/evening today and wishes for a wonderful weekend too! I'll grab my usual laarge black java, sticky bun and smooches for all ferals who need happy homes!

GD, and your landlord can't or won't do something about the bed bugs? Seems that they would want to fumigate the place to get rid of them once and for all. I would hate to be in that position, so sorry for you :(

Glad you got some sleep, Cheri!
Siobhan, I rent the back part of a house, with my own entrance etc. There are a bunch of people renting rooms in the rest of the house and apparently they somehow got bed bugs. Eventually the bugs found their way to my place.
Deb, the landlord had an exterminator out once two months ago (before I got the bugs) but he just sprayed in general. He recently quoted landlord that it would be $760 to spray for the bed bugs and with only a 30 day guarantee, so he's not agreed to do that yet. The people who rent the rooms aren't throwing their things out, so the bugs just keep coming back.
I can't go out and buy a bed or anything to sleep in, because it will just become infested like the old one I had to throw out.Arrrrrgh! -
Thanks so much for the Special Cafe Day MC...your such a sweetheart.
I also apologize to my TDK Family for not posting much. Needless to say depression & a total meltdown of the household structure here has gotten in the way.
Good News...Ms.Hissy showed up to eat last night. In fact, Naughtyboy & Prettygirl were out there as well. It's been a loooong time since the 3 were together & Naughty finally stopped his incessent crying over where his mama's been. No new injuries but, she's thin & worn looking.
Bad news...saw several baby racoons climb the back fence. I pray that they move on but, doubt that will happen w/out some encouragement from my trap.
Nibble on everyone! I'll stick to just coffee this am. Haven't had much appetite or energy to eat lately.

Susie, How wonderful that all your ferals showed up to wish you a Happy National Feral Day! I see it as a sign from up above! A thank you of sorts for caring for Gods little creatures with the love that you give them! I raise my glass (coffee cup) for a toast to you Susie and everyone else who cares for ferals.

Just saw them, Jeankit! Double your fun Friday - they both are so adorable and most definately worth the wait!
My late kitty Smokie, was a long-hair blackie. She showed up at our door as a tiny tyke of a kitten, and graced our lives for a year and a half. She bequeathed 8 of her 9 lives to Shaddo (who used them all, plus his own, plus some of Jiggs'!).Posted 2 years ago by JoanfromNewJersey #
