I've been hoping that your neck problems would be better, MCW. And of course that MC wasn't having to deal with so much. Lots of hugs to you both!

I'm not doing too well with the acupuncture at the moment WWM, seem to be going backwards rather than forwards...

Yeah, that's sort of a big climb for a short person. But of course, it you put you and me together, we're almost tall enough to get over a wall. Almost.

I'm just not well schooled at all in acupuncture, MCW. I have known people who swear by it but I've had lots of patients in the past that it didn't do anything. Maybe it's one of those things that you have to stick with for a while. (sorry - bad pun)

Provided it were a low wall of course.

I always found accupuncture to really help and be so relaxing. Of course I don't need anymore holes ANYWHERE right now.

The sensible part of me acknowledges that it can take a few sessions to kick in. However, the sensory part of me just baulks at the idea of more pain!

Do they numb the areas where the needles are inserted?
Ohhh, Mr. WWM informs me that it is Happy Hour! Which means that I have to go and fix a little "snack" to go with our martinis. Tonight it is artichoke and spinach dip but don't be impressed - it's from Sam's Club. But it is delicious!
Catch y'all later!

WWM, I love their dip! It is really good for a store bought one. Enjoy a drink for me. The most excitement I have is water with lemon!

Never tried acupuncture. I have a bit of a headache today, but that too is a zero on MC's scale. So I've just been hanging out with Leela. Outside it looks like it wants to rain, but hasn't much today.
WWM, nice accomplishment getting the quilts done!Posted 2 years ago by JoanfromNewJersey #

Nope, but the needles are tiny. It's a little uncomfortable, but it's afterwards my body really starts complaining.

I love spinach dip. I make my own, and devoured the whole batch that I made last week! Enjoy those martinis!

Well I just took a bunch of pain meds and antibiotics, think it pushed my hand to the pill bottles! LOL

MC, hope that the pain meds and antibiotics help somewhat.
I have tried acupuncture for about 18 months for my headaches, they would work for a day or two but then it would wear off. Was told that for every year of pain you have to expect at least one month ( x 3 weekly treatments or more) of treatment.....I have had migraines since the age of 16, so almost 40 years divided by months and I couldn't afford $30 x 3-5 times a week. Good thing is that the needles didn't hurt, and I actually preferred the Chinese methods more as their needles were more slender and inserted into different spots. I do know people who the treatments helped immensely.

I live one floor above an accupuncture place. I always get so nervous when Taco and Feeny randomly start to jump around and go nuts because I'm afraid they'll bang so loud on the floor that they'll throw off the accupuncture people and stab someone in the wrong place..yikes
-
Ha Gini! Wouldn't that be something if the boys made someone get stuck in the wrong place?! I am going to see what movies I can get on demand from comcast tonite, think I will curl up and watch one. Probably will fall asleep. Did I mention I heard from FF and he wanted to know why I didn't call him yesterday? Now he is mad he went off to Atlanta with me seeping CSF from my head. I told him to have fun and not worry about me (ok, he can worry a little!)

Night MCW! Sleep tight and feel better. The Bears and Falcons game is tomorrow night and they fly back sometime late on Monday. He has to work on Tuesday so I don't know when I will see him again.
