   I think now more than ever Lainey's dad needs words of support from the Crazy Cat People! Let's do this so she can read him all our words of encouragement.

   Dear Dad,
   Know that you are in my thoughts and prayers each and every day. You have one wonderful daughter in Lainey. She loves you very, very much! She gives us updates on you, you have become one of our little family here on the net. My dad had a similar (ok almost identical illness) as yours back in 95. It was a very long, hard, stressful period but he did make it with all our love and prayers. I feel now I need to "pay it forward" and send love, hugs, and prayers to you. Follow doctor's orders and don't be afraid to ask questions! You deserve the very best! Much love!

    One more bump. I saw him briefly today (couldn't kiss him as I haven't been on my antibiotics for 24 hours when I saw him) and he was already complaining that he is bored (i'm calling to have a tv moved in his room tomorrow) and that he wants to stand up at least three times a day to start getting strong! He can't wait for the physical therapy to start, either. That man, my daddy, is AMAZING!
