Thank you all!
GD where to begin. I got to the hospital at the appointed time to hear--"Oh we were just calling you to let you know that we can't do one of the tests because the CT is broken. You will have to wait until it is fixed which could take several days."
Well I think Emma's spirit just soared into me! I marched to the administration. I said 4 weeks ago you were rushing me into emergency surgery and my husband and I had to stop this hospital because it was not ME on that wrist band. Then I am told to wait 3 weeks when they ordered these tests on September 21 STAT! I told the hospital administrator to find a working CT and get me into it TODAY! I was sent to Portales and have gone through all their testing. Had minimal reaction to the contrast--we knew I might have some because of my allergies. Anyway the up side is the tests are done and the hospital administrator himself made the doctor CREATE an appointment to give me the results at 3:45pm tomorrow.
Emma I swear I heard your voice--thank you!

Right now the administrator has just seen the full complaint that I made when this all happened. I then suggested that since no one has bothered to show him this imformation up to this time, it appears the hospital is trying to cover things up and the JCAHO (licensing agency for hospitals) needs to have the file handed to them. Seems that is what lit the fire. In the end I had the procedure done today and I am home waiting until tomorrow at 3:45 when I learn what the heck I do next.
TDK has been my back bone through all this. Thank you all more than you will ever know!

It's almost Tuesday (well here anyway) and I'm keeping everything crossed until you get your results. It makes walking and driving a little difficult, but what the heck - you're a friend!

PM I remember driving in London--best to uncross for that one! I have to say that we have finally convinced this town that traffic circles work, sometimes much better than a stop sign! But to drive on a round about all crossed--you know I would end up driving into the statue!

Praying for a good outcome.

Good job, SM. It's just sad that we must be such staunch advocates for our own health care because we rather expect the professional providers to do that for us. But in today's health care world, compassion and the use of common sense is sadly lacking.

Way to go, SM! I call smell their scorched ears from here! Imagine the good that could be done in the world if we all 'channeled' Emma at once. Fingers crossed for good results tomorrow.

Oh Liz!!! I love your spunk girl!! Thanks to Emma for channeling your energy and marching in there and just telling them..."No...Not gonna happen"!!! That's the kind of spirit this will take SM. God Bless you and keep yourself moving with that same gusto. Prayers that the Dr. will have real answers for you tomorrow. {{{{Liz}}}}
