Hi Deb! I'm bringing the NS fountain over since I didn't get there last night. I could go for a mimosa (virtual ones won't impair my w**k!). Had a slammin headache yesterday and didn't get much done. I'm so glad it's better today!
Ok, the screwdriver and the fruit juice fountains are all set up and agency kitties are ready to make drinks to order - enjoy!Posted 1 month ago by JoanfromNewJersey #

Joan, you are a sweetheart, many thanks....
Puppy story, it is sad though but the pup had a good life...

Good Morning all! How is everyone doing? I am feeling a little nauseated today and am draining out back my head. I hope to get into the NeuroSurgeon ASAP this morning. Hope you all have a good day!

MC get to the doctor! I hope things get a bit better for you soon. Hopefully they'll help
Joan I'm glad your headache is better!
I'm FINALLY feeling a lot better from this stupid sickness! I have a cough but my throat is way better, my nose is still stuffed but its easily blowable, my fever is gone, and my tummy is better...thank goodness! Last night Oreo (my gerbil) somehow managed to eat literally an entire 1/2 of his plastic wheel that he loves running on. It's sad because now he can't run on it. I don't know why he did that. He has lots of chew toys and food and water...I guess I'll have to go get him a new wheel.
Nothing exciting today. Had a pop essay quiz in my first class at ten this morning. On lunch break now, then back for 2 more classes. Luckily I have no work today and I get out of school by 2:30, so I have the afternoon/night free to relax and catch up on homework and stuff I missed in school last week.

Hello everyone. MC...please get to a dr...we are worried about you.
Gini, I am so glad you are feeling better.Busy today ...it's Maddie's official birthday and our 8th anniversary..so we are going to Red Robin tonight, Maddie gets a free meal :) SO today Maddie and I fingerpainted for the 1st time and she loved it. Then I had to give her a bath..thank goodness for washable paint.
We are also trying big girl panties instead of diapers today..hopefully that will work and we can be on the road to no diapers for Maddie.
Now we are eating lunch and I still have laundry and dishes to do...

Good morning, all! MC, you'd better be at the doctor's or the hospital right now!
I had a rough night. Last time I slept at home, I got bit by the bed bugs so last night I decided to try sleeping in my car again. We'll it was in the low 50s and I have thrown out all of my bedding except for a sheet. I slept with it and a few towels and barely got any sleep a all - it was miserable :(I'm so tired now, but I need to run out and get meds for Bobby and get a phone card to call my dad since his birthday is today.
Hope everyone is having a good day!

thanks Katt :)
OMG GD...there has got to be an alternative to you sleeping in your car.
Bed bugs are so hard to get rid of...but you can't not live in your apt or sleep there for heavens sake. ((GD))Posted 1 month ago by cricketsmama #

GD, can you buy/borrow and air mattress (can be wiped down daily). All white linens - wash them daily in hot water with bleach. Should that at least minimize your chances of exposure until you can get out of there?

TM, I had an air mattress, but it only lasted one night - Bobby killed it! I don't have a washing machine here and can't run to the laundromat every day. So I keep my one sheet and towels in my car where the bugs can't get it and change my clothes before I go in th car so I don't bring the bugs out there.

I also heard bed bugs can travel around and come out in the outlets in different rooms. They like the heat of electricity I guess. I think only very high heat kills them. There was a program on TV about them awhile ago. I didn't see it tho. My sympathies for poor GD.

GD - You have GOT to move. That is all kinds of wrong. You aren't getting any decent rest and the boys, I'm sure, are missing you terribly. I know money is tight, but your health is important !
Gini - glad you are feeling better, finally !
And it's Monday.... *sigh* I really did not want to come in to work today.... but alas - there are kitties to feed and bills to pay, so I am here, in my little gray box.

I've tried DE and it doesn't work as well as I'd need it to. The bed bugs sense the CO2 we breathe out and find us. I've gotten rid of rugs, bedding and the whole bed itself, but they live in cracks in the foundation, etc. and still seek me out at night when I'm sleeping.
BB, Mi got bit a few weeks ago, right underneath his eye. I had to take him to the vet and he had to get two shots - an antiinflammatory and a pain reliever. The bugs prefer humans, but they can bite pets, too. Luckily I haven't seen any bites on them since.
If/when I move, I'm getting rid of almost everything. I've already washed all my clothes and keep them sealed in containers. I'd still wash everything again before I move somewhere. My biggest worry is bringing them to GG's house (or anyone elses, for that matter), so I change my clothes before I go anywhere. -
Hi, Everyone! I'm cleaning house today because that worthless Hazel was a no-show..... again.
GD, I guess you and the boys will just have to come and stay with us. Change your clothes first, though. What are the other people in the building doing about the bugs?
