WWM, they're not doing anything, that's the frustrating part! In fact, they took the infested box spring I threw out and brought it in to use for themselves. It won't matter if I clean, throw out and treat here if they keep bringing bugs into the house or don't treat in there.

Back from classes! I got my German quiz back from last week. I got a B+ on it and he said that was the highest grade and the average was a D-.....yikes!! I don't think he is that great of a teacher. I always have to try my best to teach myself at home after class because he doesn't do much and these test scores prove it. He won't curve, either!

Well... the news just keeps getting better. My son was told on Friday that it was 95% chance the he has swine, 'scuse me H1N1, flu. They didn't even test as they said results wouldn't be back until February - the labs are so backed up. He was feeling a bit better today so went to work. He just called me... he is off the rest of the day, tomorrow for sure and maybe Wednesday. He was wise enough to go back to the doc because he was feeling worse. Now he has pneumonia. He's healthy in general - but this still scares the bejeepers out of me. Any extra white light you guys could send to my boy would be appreciated. Thanks....
Oh - and congrats on the B+ gini !!

Oh 2P I am so sorry! Mike got the swine flu when there was the initial outbreak so I know how scary it can be :( Some of the nights I stayed up all night watching his fever since it was over 104! I can't believe your poor son caught pneumonia, too. I hope he feels all better soon and I'm glad he went back to the doctor. I'll be thinking of him!

Your poor son, 2p! I hope he feels better soon!
I finally got a hold of my dad to wish him a happy birthday. He sounded chipper enough. He spent most of the day at his old neighbor's house. They had presents for him, made him dinner, dessert etc. and he had a great day. My brother went to the house and as a present showed up with a friend of his who is a landscaper and did some work in the yard for him.

Off-topic, if anyone needs info about screens that work well with kits, this is from one of feral groups that I get info on....
This is the type of screen we use: http://tinyurl. com/yzsrb8r Available at most hardware stores, they come in assorted heights and widths. We reinforce the edge where screen meets wood with heavy-duty tape and screws.
2P, hope that your son gets to feeling better soon, that flu is a terrible thing.
GD, wishing you better luck with those bbugs, would putting the DE around the seams of the rooms along the wall/floors help any....if they are coming up thru the cracks in the foundation....just a question and really sorry that the landlords aren't doing anything about it. Maybe the health department could help you with either suggestions or complaints, just an idea.
