   she has started to get up on my lap or hip and hang out and purr. she also does this on my tummy when i'm in bed.

   i wish she would be like Velvet and crawl up to my neck and shoulder area and hang out and purr. Velvet was the best sleeping pill...

   When we put Tansey's brother Basil to sleep, Tansey spent a lot more time with us than she used to. She was lonely! She would spend a lot more time on us, on our chairs, at our feet, on the bed with us, sleeping with us, snuggling, etc.

   Once we got Hermes, that stopped, she had another playmate to occupy her attention. I kinda missed that, ya know? I think Tansey kinda liked being an only cat because she got ALL the attention. But she got -very- lonely when both of us were out of the house.

   Spice is such a cuddle bug! I always knew she had it in her. I remember how persistant she could be when she wanted her lovin, right here, right now, my way, RIGHT NOW! Her purrr is a tonic and her lovely coat is so inviting! She is enjoying being the ONLY cat, she has you all to herself and she is lovin every minute of it! Enjoy eachother!
