"*** CRATES WILL BE PROVIDED FOR THIS TRANSPORT ***

Cats that end up at the Grayson County Humane Society in Leitchfield, KY have a VERY SLIM chance of being adopted or rescued locally. As the shelter is now filled to capacity, it's VERY critical that we get this run filled for this weekend, Sunday, October 25th, 2009. A super-dedicated Grayson County shelter volunteer is all ready, willing, and able to drive the first few legs of the transport and the wonderful rescue is kindly driving the last leg, so all we need to do is to fill in the gaps.

If you can help with this "kitty convoy" of approximately 6-10 cats (the passenger list is still being determined), please contact me via email at schwender@aol.com (@aol.com) with the information listed below:
    Name:
    Leg(s) You Can Drive:
    Home #:
    Cell #:
    Email Address:
    Vehicle Make/Model/Color/License Plate #:
    Emergency Contact and Phone #:
Preferred Meeting Place Suggestion (if you have one):

Feel free to also suggest a different leg you'd consider driving if the listed start and/or end points aren't ones you prefer. It's also quite likely that we'll be trying to do this very same run several more times before the end of the year. If you would be interested in helping then too, please let me know and I'll contact you as we determine the dates of the next transports.

For anyone who has never transported cats and/or who might have concerns about handling them, please know that approximately six small-medium cat carriers will be provided for this transport so they can simply be passed on from one driver to the next. That means there's really no need to handle the cats at all. There's also no need to have a van, SUV, or extra-large vehicle.

If you can help us in ANY way with this transport, I'd love to hear from you. Thanks so much and safe travels to all.......

Preferred Meeting Place Suggestion (if you have one):

**ALL OF THE LEGS LISTED BELOW ARE FLEXIBLE**

If you can drive part of a leg or a longer leg, please just let me know. Legs are not numbered to allow for such possible changes.

Feel free to suggest meeting places. For safety reasons, we simply don't list them on our general requests for driver assistance. Meeting places are also subject to change depending on driver preference and/or agreement.

As with ALL transports, please be prepared for this transport to run slightly behind or ahead of schedule. While we try our hardest to have it run on time, we want everyone to travel safely.

    This transport will be monitored.

Ten minutes have been added to each leg to allow for the transfer of the cat crates.
