You look real cute in your glasses, Gini! They suit you well :) I have worn contacts for many, many years, do take them out at night and I have glasses to watch tv with. I remember, too, how amazing everything looked when I could actually see like I was supposed to! Everything was so bright and crisp. My hubs has contacts, as do both our kids!
CM, now the hunt is on for that flu vaccine!

Afternoon everyone, Gini your glasses look very nice :) Kilroy, believe that the time in NZ changed about a month ago...they are a bit ahead of us on the fall back/spring ahead thing. Well back to reading some of the back posts......

How far does it have to go for insurance companies to get a clue on people being unhappy with their power shows? Now they want to deny coverage to a 2 yr old little girl because she is 'too small' even though her doctor says she is healthy.

Kilroy - Deb is right - we did change to daylight savings a month ago. This morning's error was obviously a finger slip by MrKK went he reset the alarm last night. He reset the time and the alarm!

Hi Deb - work so far has been frantic. Trying to get a whole lot of stuff done by a Friday deadline - all for the same client. They must think I have been cloned. And Monday is a public holiday so that puts a crunch on next week when more stuff is due.

Evening all!..... good day at work, employees responding really well and pulling together as a team!..... they've been the "step children" for 9 mos. until I came, so I had a lot of "gathering of the troops" to do!.....what holiday is Monday for you KK?......
... and can I "whine" about daylight savings time?.... I HATE it!..... it means here in Fla. it will get dark around 5:30, and I'll have to drive home in the dark... ick!...... why can't they just leave well enough alone?..... making more daylight in the morning accomplishes NOTHING, and if they tell you it's for the school children - it's still US parents that have to drive them, and we'd still rather take them in the dark and drive home in the light after a long day!!!........"whines" again!......

Well I am finally home too AV, what a long day! UGH! I hate the time change too, because in the winter here when there is over a foot of snow on the ground and then the darkness comes around 4pm. It is so gloomy and scary to drive home from work in that. I go to work in the dark and come home in the dark!

Hi AV and MC - Monday is our Labour Day. Last long weekend until Christmas and our first public holiday since June. Also the time to traditionally plant tomatoes!

Hi Deb!....over years of experience of being in the business force, I've learned that you do the best you can, in the time you have, and don't take it home/loose sleep over it!.....tomorrow is always another day, and a new perspective.....
...when I first got into the business world, I would take every "file" home with me, grind it over and over in my head at night, and wake up exhausted.... it was actually my mother in law that told me, "honey, if it would do you any good, or make things any better by daylight, that would work, but if it ruins your sleep/life, it's not worth it!".... and she was SO right!
