I saw your post on feline herpes about the saline. Would it help for my kitten with the eye infection (chlamydia)? The vet gave me medication, and ointment called isee from virbac, which I have to put in 6-12 times a day. The treatment is working - the cloudy-ness in his eyes is getting better, his eyes are open wide, the bleeding and puss has stopped, but the third eyelids are still very visible. It looks like what they call 'cherry eye' in dogs; don't know if it applies to cats as well. I'm taking him back to the vet tomorrow. Would it do any harm to try the saline?

She's much better, thanks for asking! She finished her medication yesterday, so now she just gets the ointment in her eyes 6 times a day. Her left eye has an ulcer on it, which is going to take months to go away, which is why we are still doing the ointment thing. Her right eye is going to need surgery when she's bigger - the eyelids have fused together in the corner of the eye, so she cant open her eye properly, but she's definitely not in pain anymore. Her favourite game is biting mommy when it's ointment time again :D I've never been so happy to get bitten by a cat before . . .
