   Hey everyone. I do my best, and usually do a very good job, at keeping Jetta's box clean. However! She is urinating on my clothes! First it was if I left sorting on the laundry room floor, then it was on towels on a chair in the bedroom, then on clean towels in the dryer (yep, was lazy and didn't fold and put away nor leave the door closed!) and now she is going into the hamper and urinating on those clothes! It's not an everyday thing. Kind of random. She will be due for a vet visit soon (her annual check-up) but just wondering if anyone has any ideas as to why she does this and how to stop it? Thanks!

   Lainey this kind of behavior is often indicative of a UTI. Is there any way you can get her in to the vet a little early for her check-up?

   Yes, I will do that. She does cry a lot lately. She drinks plenty (always has). I'll call tomorrow and get her in ASAP. She started doing this over the summer (she didn't cry then, though) and it's been gradually getting worse. Oh, I hope I'm not a terrible meowmy!

   Sometimes it can take a while for the infection to get to this point. Don't feel bad Lainey...this can happen to any one of us. Hope she gets some antibiotics working on it soon. I'm sure she'll be feeling fine in no time at all. =)

   Thanks, Karenopa... i'm in tears over here and hugging her and apologizing to my baby girl... She's done so well since she moved back in with me over a year and half ago and is thriving being an "only child." I will call first thing tomorrow morning and get her in ASAP. Good thing I won that money in the lottery! Two days out without pay but my baby is worth everything to me. I'd figure something out. If I don't get a new tv, so what? I have to take care of my girl! Thank you for responding to my cry for help!
