  1. Does anyone have knowledge of whether the Step Away kitty litter brand is bad to use for a young kitten's litter box? I am worried my kitten may be ingesting some of the litter which collects on his little hind feet as he steps into and out of his box. Ingesting the litter may be a cause of his consistent loose stools and/or diarrhea. The vet has had him on Flagil (antidiarrheal) which I don't think worked at all. Now we are trying a pro biotic treatment. He is on a healthy kitten diet approved by my vet.

  2. What food are you feeding him? It could be an intolerance to one of the ingrediants.

Is step away a clumping litter? If so for sure don't use it...you only want to use unclumping litter when they are kittens.
