Morning, MC. Rough morning in the Georgie household, lots of yakking on George's part, plus for some reason Auntie Ina decided she doesn't want to take care of him when we go away and now I don't know *what* we're going to do when we're away for 2 weeks in Nov. :( We have part of it covered, but only 3 or 4 of the 9 days. Argh.

She says she doesn't want to be responsible for him and that it makes her sad because she thinks he's lonely when we're away, but DUH, he sleeps most of the time, and how does her not coming over make him less lonely? (if he was, which he's not). Sorry, I'm not making much sense.

{{{MCW}}} {{{Sio}}} What a day we're all having. Oh, and Sio, by "yakking", I mean barfing up his breakfast. So, not a good thing.
MCW, I had thought about Gini, but I'm not sure Mike would go for letting a "stranger" into our apt (of course, he's the one who found bozo cat sitter from Manchester in the pub up the street). Our next door neighbor says he'll help (he's the owner of the cat that escaped and came into our apt one morning), but we don't want to impose on him for the whole time. Mike's nephew & his partner are staying over the Friday through Sunday that we're gone, but that leaves two and a half days before that and 3 and a half days after.
I'm sorry you're still feeling like c**p; maybe it's time to talk to your doc again about trying something different. {{{MCW}}} Oh, and if he felt up to it I would send George through the wormhole to bite your boss on the ankle.

I did see my doc yesterday & am going back to the pain management clinic to discuss further, but they can't fit me in til 8 December! Ah well, tomorrow might be a better day.
I spose I could always bite the Boss' ankle... ;o)

Kilroy, sounds like it's Aunty Ina who's not making much sense. I thought of Gini too, perhaps you could persuade Mr K that she's not really a stranger at all. Maybe if she came over for morning tea so he and George could meet her, he might feel more comfortable about it. What a shame we can't fly GD in... quick holiday in New York and no bedbugs :)

I agree with Sio re: Gini. There's not one of you that I have met that I wouldn't trust to my house or cats. As long as you have met ....
We are so lucky. We have 2 ladies in our community that cat/dog sit. They are worth their weight in gold. Our cats just love them. They come twice a day, do the l-box each time, play with them for a while, change the water and make sure their dishes are full enough for them. I swear they give more attention to the cats than we do. MOL. But at lease we are worry free for our time away.Posted 2 years ago by SammyandOliversmama #

Hi everyone!!! MCW..I hope you feel better. I am in the middle of potty training Maddie..she's doing good. She had one accident overnight but all in all did well. She's in underwear and during the day is doing awesome. She even woke up at 11pm just to go potty so she wouldn't wet the bed. Sometime after midnight and when she woke up she did have an accident but no biggie...change sheet and all done...I am sure this is an ongoing process for a while, but yay no more diapers for her.
Abbie is getting into everything and keeping me busy..It seems like the older they get the less time I have. I am thinking of everyone and try to read the posts even though I may not reply.

Hi everyone! Had an awesome day yesterday. For starters, I took the day off, so that's a good day right there! Went with Mom, sister and hubby with the town Parks & Rec. Dept. on a trip to Rhinebeck, NY. We ate at the Beekman Inn, the oldest continuious working Inn in America, wandered around the shops and stores for a while, then took a boat cruise up the Hudson. Weather was a bit chilly and cloudy, but beautiful nonetheless.

She came up on the bed the other night and instead of nestling down with us, she was playing. We thought for sure she had a ladybug, but it was a toy. She's been watching them, though!

good morning !! i slept great last night, didn't get up for anything. 1am to 10:30am - so ok, i don't need to to get up for anything specific...i can only have clear foods today, colonoscopy tomorrow, absolutely nothing red !!!. so if one of you could take a medium rare ribeye, take the color out and squeeze into a glass, i'd appreciate it. actually i'm drinking sprite, it's ok !!!
