     MC - I have sent an email to a couple of 2nd degree Reiki practitioners to do a distance treatment on/for you. I will do the same.

     Patient's families are often scared... we don't always hear what we need to hear. I only hope I was not a pain to the hospital staff when my Mom was in ICU. It's not my nature to yell, scream, accuse - but I may have been full of questions about why, when... etc. and asked them repeatedly not really hearing an answer the first time.

     I admire your strength and sense of humor my friend !

     You can and will get through this, you are simply one of the most amazingly positive people I have ever met.

     In the meantime, I can't imagine the stress of deadling with idiot woman at work can be good for you, can't you have a word with your bosses about taking you off frontline duties?

     2 popoki i love pt's families who ask questions.. it's a part of good care to teach the families.. i encourge questions , pt and family education is number 1 in the treatment of the patient.... you have a right to know your treatment and have the right to refuse anything you disagree with ... i just dislike bullies or screamers because all they get is security walking them out the door and me waving bye bye... or people calling me names over the phone when i explain the HIPPA regualtions , that information cannot be given over the phone.. they scream at me .. i hang up on them... you sound like a good family and i would answer any questions anyday for you !! thank you for being kind...

     Prayers are still with you. I am suprised that your neurosurgeon didn't call radiology--a call will move you to the top of the list. Maybe you should use that number he gave you, and let him know you are having a hard time getting an appointment with radiology.

     Nothing here. I did get in touch with NS but no more luck than I had. Apparently the hospital really IS busy! Go figure! I heard firetrucks all day yesterday and all night. Don't know what is going on with people but they must be really sick. That's too bad. I did a really stupid thing. He told me "NOT TO TOUCH" the wound on the back of my head. Not thinking, during the night it was itching like crazy. I reached around and scratched like crazy and ripped the big scab off my head and bled like a stuck pig. I have to be really careful now that I re-opened the wound so that it doesn't get infected. I did buy a thermometer at WalMart today to watch my temp. Speaking of firetrucks, I am getting more angry at FF. We last talked right as I was going into the doc and he said be sure to let him know how it went, he was really worried. Still can't get ahold of him and he isn't answering his phone or texts. (Ok, I will feel like an idiot if something happened to him or his family). If he was so worried,why no answer to find out more?

     FInALLY I have heard from FF, he had dropped his phone in the parking lot in a puddle during a rain storm. It smashed into a million pieces and he had to wait for "approval" from his cell phone company to get a new one. He did call and nothing is wrong. Thank goodness!

     No he is not. He is at work right now. They have been very busy and while we were talking they got called out again. He is so positive its sickening! LOL He finds the good in everything!

     MC...lots of gentle HUGS being sent to you. I've had a migraine the last 3 days but, it's now subsiding w/Motrin 800's.
     I'll gladly accept my pain over what your going thru. I can't say it enuf about how proud I am to know you. You're such a strong woman! Please get as much rest as you can & I hope you feel alot better after you have. I'll be totally w/you in spirit when you go for those tests tomorrow. Not meaning to sound like FF...you'll be fine because your our Miracle Girl!

     I'm so glad to hear that you will be having the tests tomorrow-it will be a relief to know just where you stand with things. It's ok to be scared, angry, etc. I think you must be running the entire range of emotions now! I will keep you in my prayers and hold a good thought for you tomorrow.
