  1. After about two weeks of trying to trap the cat that's been around the calf barn we work at he's finally caught. Not by a trap (that cat is an escape artist and always got himself caught and got out again) but my dad got him. He somehow got into the barn and was sleeping in the straw pile so all it took was going up to him and picking him up. As soon as he got picked up he started purring and acting like he was having the best time in his whole life.

So, I got him :) He's really cute, a longhaired orange-y with huge eyes *melts*. He may just already have a home...my mom and dad already fell in love with him.

So, what is gonna happen next Friday? I seem to have this thing going with somehow getting another cat every Friday....

  7. Good news-it sounds like he's once had a home if he's that friendly.

  8. Actually we kinda doubt she ever did have a real home. The most likely thing that happened was that she was born at the heifer barn, jumped into the back of someones truck, and hitched a ride over to the calf barn. The person that takes care of the animals @ the heifer barn lives right next to our calf barn. The kittens there do get human contact somewhat so would be fairly tame.

Anyway, HE is actually a SHE according to the vet tech that drew her blood today to test for FIV and FeLV (luckily it came back negative). So she is staying with us. Plus we kinda already fell in love with her :D
