   Hello all, just wanted to start a nightshift page. I hope you all had a good day and are enjoying a wonderful evening with family or friends.

   Will open the doors, oh my, kittys running everywhere! I guess we waited too long and they are anxious to be petted and fed.

   The food court is open, with yummy foods for all to enjoy, the fountain is on with your choice of drinks.

   Keep all of those of us who are needing comfort in your prayers as we gather and wish them all well.

   Hi, Lynn, just popping my head around the door. It is a beautiful holiday afternoon here in NZ and I am going to have a quick cuppa tea before I go back out and start wrestling with the garden again! Hope all is well with you and your loved ones!

   Hi all! I concur with Jcat - its a beautiful afternoon here too. It's our Labour Weekend - Labour Day on Monday. Just being out ordering a new dishwasher, getting groceries, the New Moon soundtrack, new swimsuit for miniKK..... The scream you may have heard was my debit and credit cards!!! Now I plan to relax and enjoy the sunshine for awhile.

   Hi KK, so the holiday is labour day for you. We had one last month, may be a different meaning for you. So that was the screaming I heard!! Your holiday must mean spending money!! Enjoy the sunshine, it's raining buckets here and cold!

   Beth, sorry you have to work weekends and hope you have a good one just the same. Ghost whisperer was good wasn't it! sleep well and have a good weekend just the same.

Til then, my thoughts and prayers are with MC and her recovery, Cheri in her feeling better and things to go better for her, and Lainey and her family. I wish all other members peace as well.     Nighty-night, Cheri, sleep well.

    Tee hee SM, sorry but we have had such a hard winter here and snow storms during spring (the husband of a friend of mine got caught in a blizzard on a main highway and his family didn't know where he was for 19 hours!) and so much rain last week that it just seems like a miracle to see the sun again. I will get over the novelty soon, I promise...

    I am here and should have stayed home, must be the weather or something because all we have been dealing with is drunks!!!! People driving the wrong way down highways, hitting medians and what-have-you....makes one wonder!

    Evening Deb, just popping in for a short visit as Airy and I are going to watch a DVD soon, Children of the Silk Road.
    Today Airy and I went and played a game of mini golf and it was exciting, not so much the game as the swarm of bees that buzzed through the middle of it. I ducked and Airy stepped to one side, there was a lot of buzzing, we got hit a couple of times and they were gone. I looked behind me and there were people hugging the ground looking wide eyed and then kids started crying but no-one was stung, just frightened. Mr MS has caught some fish and they are out anchored off some islands about 50km off shore. Tomorrow Airy and I intend to go fishing off the jetty at one of the marinas just for fun, bet we only catch seaweed.
    Sorry it seems to be the night for idiots out drinking and driving, it does make one wonder what they think they are doing. Probably not much thinking going on really.
    DVD is ready now but I'll pop back in later.

    Evening Deb and MS, poor Deb, I'd forgotten it was your Monday and what a pain to have to deal with drunks, aarrrrgh, frustrating!

    After several days of no work coming through, today, first day of the holiday weekend, I woke up to a delivery of loads of page proofs -- double-arrrgghhh. Oh well, I had most of the week 'off' so I suppose I can work now (but it was raining then. It's not raining now!) If I arrange it properly, I should still have time for a bit of gardening.

    MS, your day sounds eventful, eek, bees! Bet you're enjoying having Airy around to keep you company while Mr MS is off fishing. Hope you enjoy your DVD. I finished my path (phase 1) and did some weedeating today, as well as proofs, so am knackered, not sure how long I'll stay... Could do with a cuppa tea though. Back in a bit...

    Ok, 3 drunk drivers & 1 drunk walker (playing in traffic), and one of the drivers was a wonderful gentleman who was shot and paralyzed last year while stealing beer from a convenience store....what fun...

    Hi Jcat , Airy and I decided not to watch the DVD tonight, we have time with it being a long weekend. Instead we are heading off to bed as we are tired and yawning. I'm just waiting for HRH to come inside for the night.

    MS, I think that's where I am heading too... I am sure Jasper will be waiting for me at the kitchen door, banging for his supper. Libs is tucked up in her beanbag, she gives herself dinner most nights (biscuits) then tucks herself up, she is very independent...

    It's not even full moon so that can't account for the drunks.
    Sweet dreams Jcat and the same to you Deb when you get home.
    Arrrrrrgh, i just realised I stripped the bed this morning and got so busy I haven't made it again. I really hate making the bed this late at night but no-one else is going to do it for me.! !
    Waving goodnight and trudging off to make the bed. The thought of fresh crisp linen smelling of roses is a consolation though.

    Tee hee, that's what I always do, MS. When my Mum comes to visit me, she always complains that she has to help me make the beds before she can go to bed... Nighty-night to all. Sweet dreams, MS and scritches to Shadz.

    Bed's made, Shadz inside and curled up on Airy's lap in bed, doors all locked and I'm off to curl up all cosy and warm. I hope Mr MS is warm on the boat as it's cold out on the water. Guess they have fresh fish for breakfast, if not it's the bacon and egg pie I sent out with them.
