  1. Just read your post on TKN's thread! I am thrilled you don't have cancer! YAY! Sorry about the other disease but you are right it is treatable! I am so happy that they finally got around to finding something. Once again I see the miracle of TDK prayer and love. What are they going to do to help you now? Where do you go from here!? Many hugs!

  2. I had posted that in the hospital thread when I found out Tuesday, but I think you have had more pressing issues to deal with MC. Thanks. I have another appointment on the 29th and have to get the referral to internal med. because of the thing seen in my colon. I have gone through that though and been cancer free for over 20 years so I am pretty sure anything there can be nipped in the bud quickly.

  3. Yes, give us an update SM. It is just a relief to hear it is not cancer. How common is this polycystic kidney disease? Are there several types of treatments for it? Does it continue to grow or is it stopped once treatments begin? Hope you are feeling better and able to relax with this latest news.{{{HUGS}}}

  5. It is genetic, but neither my father or mother have it. Seems my great uncle did. The cysts will grow and multiply. I think with whatever this treatment is he wants to start at the end of the month will cause it to slow. In the meantime I have to get to the root of the pain--he thinks it is a colon issue now. Although the headaches he says are related to the kidney. He adjusted the medicine for my head and wants me off the vicodin after the colonoscopy.

  6. Oh SM, you are so right! My head has been elsewhere, I missed you other post. Funny thing is my brain problem is also genetic, neither mom or dad had it. I suspect my mom's dad though as she said he used to hit his head on the cement wall it used to hurt him so bad. It would reduce him to tears and banging his fists into something he hurt like the dickens. Amazing the things we inherit we don't know we have. Either way, I pray there will be relief in your near future. You will soon be on the road to recovery and so will I!
