   Yes world I am ok! Thanks to all who worried about me but I just took some meds and went to bed. FF kept yelling at me for sitting up so I listened and went to bed. See what it got me? A big fat ugly policeman pounding on my doors and windows after midnight. Not to mention he started on the wrong side of the duplex and my neighbor is p*ssed! He is not one to p*ss off as he is big, mean and ugly. Then the policeman had to come into my house to make sure it was ok, make sure I really had a scar on my head etc. I was a site with hair standing up, nightshirt on and disoriented from being awakened by them. Not to mention I was originally freaked out thinking "OMG! Who was killed? Who's dead? Police only do notifications in the middle of the night in the pouring rain! Needless to say that was it for me, didn't sleep the whole night worried about someone pounding on my door and windows again. Got a whopping two hours sleep last night. Dragging butt today but feel much better.

   Morning MC! Sorry but had to laugh at your description of the cop pounding on your door. Really glad that the scar is on your head and not the 'other' end, that would have been embarrassing in.....yes sir I truly have a scar here on my a** wanna see? But honestly we were just worried about you, it wasn't done to harass you, nor bother you my friend.

   Oh, MC, I'm so sorry. That sounds like a horrible night and so not what you needed.

   But at least you know we care about you and will send the cavalry in at a moment's notice...

   I'm sorry the policeman wasn't cute :) And that your neighbour is p***** off.

   Morning all!.... early start for w**k today, busy week!.... so good to see Son yesturday, I'm so proud of him, he really has his direction mapped for himself. When he graduates this year, he has applied for the MBA program, which he can fast track in a year for his masters, and then will enter law school. He will stay in Gainesville, his job with the United way will pretty much cover all his expenses, and he has scholar ships for the tuition, etc. After law school, he wants to launch his political career......I am amazed that he is so focused on what he wants to do with his life...... I'm still not sure! LOL

   "ga'day" Jcat! How's the weather down under?..... it's still hot and sticky here, the cold fronts just can't seem to make it south right now, they stall around Tallahassee, and don't even send us rain!.... it's hot, dry and humid - ick!

    Good morning, all. Sorry I'm late checking in; my eye doctor told me this weekend not to spend so much time on the computer at home, and Mike was around this morning to enforce it, so...

    Kind of a bad weekend; we drove up to RI for a wedding reception (the bride and groom are both from NJ, but she's a spoiled princess and had to have a fancy reception in a Newport mansion, bleah), and Mike got lost on the way there, which added hours to the trip and led to much swearing.

    Before that, we stopped at his sister's over in Jersey; she's just been diagnosed with dementia, and it was painfully obvious how much she's deteriorated since we saw her last :( I think this is why Mike was distracted on our road trip (and I don't blame him a bit). Then last night we got a phone call at about 10:30 from one of Mike's tennis buddies, calling to tell him that another one of their tennis group died last night while driving home from his vacation place in CT. They were supposed to play this morning, and now Rich is gone. He was six months younger than Mike and he used to run marathons. Sweet guy, and his wife is a dear, too. If I could impose on you all, could I ask for some prayers for Sheila, and for Mike's sister Rosemary and her family?

    MC, I hope everything gets sorted out soon, sorry you had such a scare last night.

    Hi, Everyone! We are back from our excellent biking adventure. And I now completely understand why the Texas Hill Country is called the hill country. Yikes! Some of those hills totally kicked my behind! And there was about a 15 - 20 mph wind. Yee-haw!!!! But we saw some beautiful country, lots of animals and ate way too much good food.

    Now, it's chores and stuff. I guess no one has seen that worthless Hazel?

    Hazel was screeching, screaming and throwing things around my place the other day, and didn't do a darned thing. I had to keep a close eye on my prized black broomstick because she hinted that she wanted it for an important witch conference this weekend. Had to keep an eye on Leela too, because Hazel was babbling about wanting another black kitty to ride with. Sigh...

    Hi guys!.... back from a long day at work, but fruitful and actually personally rewarding (I like helping people to better themselves - I'm a good mentor)...... heading into the kitchen to make some nice soft tacos for dindin... Hubbs in the shower, and Abbs & Cuddles are "chillin" in the living room.... it's finally a relaxing night at the Griffins!.....

    MC, I just can't believe your indellible spirit, girl!.... and FF may come around yet, probably scared to death, and doesn't know how to react!.... ((((huggs)))) you will always have your TDK family........
