Tonight the kittehs at the NS are making soup and sandwiches (made to order). They have been simmering the soups all day in the slow cookers. Sandwiches are whatever your heart desires. Fountains are flowing and the TV is on for those who want to watch. Blankets are out, pillows fluffed and the fireplace roaring. I am going to have some creamy tomato soup and cheese sandwich on some french bread! Cake and ice cream too in honor of Lydia Kitty's purrday! Happy Evening! Come join us!

Hi AZ, I must say I feel so much better after having slept the WHOLE day long. I pulled out the heating pad and laid on that for a while. Pretty nice it has a timer with auto shut off on it so I knew I wouldn't burn myself and Betty wouldn't either. She snuggled right up against the heating pad. Right now Wilma is lying on it even though it isn't on. Maybe it "feels" warm to her and I won't tell her otherwise.

I am staying at the party. there is a plate of brownies somewhere. and there is a rumor that the ingredients for homemade Bailey's is here too...

MC, good thing that the pad turns off, and Betty seems to have enjoyed it too. Wilma is a smart girl, wait til its off and then lie on it, it probably is still a tad bit warm just not really warm.
Soxsmom, the stars should be great tonight, just lots & lots of wind right now....supposed to be the coldest since the early 1970's for the next 3 days, so we shall see.

Mr. WWM and I have been to a wonderful wine dinner at a restaurant here. The food was fantastic. Now we are going to go and watch our recording of the results show of Dancing With the Stars. Then we're going to open the bedroom windows and throw a heavy WWM made quilt over the bed. It's chilly here in West Texas. And what feels better than to snuggle up under a quilt with kitties?
Have a great evening, Everyone!

Hi all, you know how much I love soup especially homemade vege soup, but it's way too hot here today for that so I'll have to have cold Gazpacho soup please.
Spent the morning in the garden getting more beds ready for zucchini, buttercup squash, cucumbers and kamo kamo. now I'm all hot and possibly a bit sunburnt.Posted 3 weeks ago by Moonshadow_NZ #

Anyone still here... I will have french onion soup with tons of Guyrere cheese and bread on top! It is supposed to be chilly here too - I love having the quilt on the bed again and snuggling with the kitties. This morning I had all 4 on the bed with me, each staking out their own piece of me and/or the bed! Take care, all! Good night!

Ha ha ha, no blazing saddles here tonight KK. We had roast beef and potatoes with leeks and broccoli straight from my garden.

Phew! Thank you Jcat, I had forgotten. I haven't even managed to watch last weeks programme yet. Just don't seem to get much time to myself with Mr MS home but he is back to work in the morning so maybe I'll get to watch all the programmes I've taped.
Just set the tape.Posted 3 weeks ago by Moonshadow_NZ #

Don't have to take him early but still earlier than I would like. We'll all probably be out the door at the same time here tomorrow. We're only forecast colder and windier weather I think thankfully but if the Desert Rd has snow then it will be darned cold here. You keep warm tomorrow. I'm glad I didn't plant out some of my vege plants today or they would have been cold and wind blown. Shadz is tucked up on Airy's bed as usual after a bit of wild tearing around the house and toy mouse killing.

Yep, snow for the desert road forecast so looks like we'll both have to wrap up warmly. And it was so beautiful today! Mind you, I was mainly stuck indoors, proofreading. It's probably just as well I'm so behind on planting any veges -- some of my roses are out but with the wind and the rain, I never even saw the blooms and today there were just ripped petals lying all over the ground :(
Awww, Shadz, sounds like the perfect day for a kitty. It'll be too cold out there now for real mouse killing but toy mouse killing can tide a girl over...

I have a beautiful rhododendron called Blue Lagoon and it's flowering now and you can guarantee we'll get wind or rain every year to ruin it. This year it's had a good run so far. The poor Snowball tree always gets blown around when it flowers too without fail. It was so beautiful and hot(22C) here today, knew it was too nice to last.

Ooh, ooh, that is a lovely rhododendron, I love the blue ones. I planted a lot when I first arrived here but we had droughts and they went deep-fried and died... Poor rhodo. It must just about be the rhodo festival in Taranaki around now, they won't be enjoying the terrible weather either, I should think the gardeners showing their gardens will all be nervous wrecks...

I don't know how they do it over there under the volcano, surely they get the winds and definitely the rain a plenty. They must have planted them in sheltered valleys.

Evening ladies, only can stay a few mins as I am kind of without my own computer this evening. Sitting in another room where there is only one computer so have to wait until I get home to actually be on today. But its my Friday so what the heck.
MS, the plants sound lovely, hope that the weather doesn't spoil them.
jcat, a nice day and you spent it indoors proofreading, so sorry for that but it does pay the bills doesn't it.
KK, hope that you get some sleep and that hubby can sleep also.
Its windy as heck here, hope that your weather doesn't change for the absolute worst. May actually get back on in a bit but not holding my breath, if not, sleep well to both of you and scritches to HRH, Jasper, and Libs in the morning.
