About 4 weeks ago we found a dead cat on the road in front of my house :-(. and we kept hearing kitten under my house. So we checked ad YUP there she was crying, dirty, with fleas, and hungry. Poor thing! we got her out and brought her in I feed her KRM from petco. I have fed her this for the past 4 weeks shes doing fine. It just worries me that when she is finishing her bottle she shakes i dont know if its normal or not but i wanna make sure theres nothing wrong at all. And also she doesnt poop at all ive seen her poop about 2 or 3 times since we found her BUT it PEES sooooo muuuch haha she just started using her litter box about 2 days ago and everyday I find about 5 pee spots. Is this normal too or what should i do?

Hi Erandi. Are u feeding her exclusively formula or have u introduced her to solids? If she's only taking formula, it's normal for them not to poop everyday. Just check to see if her stomach's not too bloated and hard. Maybe u could also take a warm and damp cotton ball and rub her gently in long strokes in the lower belly area to stimulate bowel movements. This is what the momma cat does to her kitties in order to stimulate them to go. It might take anywhere from 2-5 minutes so be patient. You could also try introducing solids to her since you say she's using the litter box on her own know. Sounds like she's old enough for some wet kitty food (no dry food just yet).
My 7 week old kitty pees about 5 times a day too and she's a healthy ball of fur so I don't think that's really a problem. Peeing is good! :)

Kittens usually cuddle up to their mum and littermates -- mum provides the warmth with her body and the kitten huddle helps to keep the warmth in. The little ones can't regulate their own body temperatures properly. A heat pad, or a hot water bottle wrapped in a towel (with room to crawl off if she gets too hot) is a great idea, as is a stuffed toy or two to cuddle up to.

Hi, Khom thanks u so much for your advice :) just wanted to say that not that long ago maybe about 2 hrs i looked behind my tv and OOPPS kitty went poopoo a couple of times there haha. Seems like she desnt like her litter box to poo just to pee :-D. She'll learn gradually to use her litter box for both things. I started to give her a lil bit of wet kitty food she seems to like it but she likes her bottle better. Thank you so much for your great help im gratefull. Shes my baby

Jcat, I noticed that this afternoon she didnt shake anymore she seemed fine. She gets enough warmth lol since she sleeps with me. Is it bad to sleep with kitties? haha idk i dont think so.... shes sleeping on my shoulder as i type she is so cuuute......sometimes im texting and she is curios and she starts bitting my fingers haha ... she has big bright blue eyes and she is multi colored (brown, black and white) i will put up some pictures in a bit and ill post the sites ... her name is Gotita thats spanish for Drop. because she has a black drop on her right eye :-) thank u so much for everything

awww...what a darling. looks like she's coming along fine. Great job Erandi. when she's well enough, maybe u can ask your vet about deworming her? She's old enough for her first round. After 2 weeks, she can get her second round. And so on till she's about 9 weeks old, and then you can deworm her anywhere between 2-6 mths depending on whether she stays indoors or outdoors. She's bound to carry some worms in her belly which may cause problems later on. Once she's rid of 'em nasty things, she'll grow plump n healthy. You can also ask about vaccinations. You don't want her catching a bug and no being able to fight it.

Oh, she is a GORGEOUS wee tortie, and she looks feisty too. Mum, feed me, waaahhhhhh!
You can encourage her to use her litterbox to poop by putting a little bit of her poop in there or you could try a litter called Cat Attract or Kitten Attract (I think) which many TDKers swear by. It's pricey, I think, but you don't use much, just sprinkle some on the top and it makes the kitten want to use her box.

Hi evryone so Halloween passed and i couldnt get her costume cause she is too small but where i took her so she could get bathe she got a tiny orange scarf lol....so cuuute thanks to everyones great help. Im thinking about taking her to the vette in a week when my bf gets paid. :-).... i sure will put more pictures up from halloween in a bit i will post the sites on here wen i post them up i have plenty :-) BRB haha gotta upload them haha
