SM, hv you dewormed Sammy? If so, worms shdn't be a problem. If you haven't, you probably should wait till his symptoms subside and deworm him. Worms can take their toll on little kits and cause diarrhea, vomiting, constipation, lethargy and weight loss. For now, all you can do is keep him hydrated, give him some pedialyte and if you have some probiotic at home, you could give him some of that too. Check if it has acidophilus. I find that probiotics can sometimes sort out mild cases of runny stools. But the best would be to take Sammy to the vet.

Oh. silly me again. I know I read Cleo but I had Sammy registered in my mind. SM, you won't lose her. ((hugs)) she will be fine.
umm...I don't know if Pedialyte is a US product cuz i live in Malaysia but tht's what the vets here call it. I think it's a bit like the human ORS (oral rehydation salt). It replenishes the lost electrolytes and essential components caused by vomitting and diarrhoea. It also sometimes goes by the brandname Duphalyte. You could ask your Vet, he/she shd know. Have you tried the probiotic treatment? If you don't have probiotic suuplements, you could try a tiny dollop of yoghurt with live cultures of Acidophilus and Lactobacillus. Works the same.
