Hello one and all, the kittehs are setting up some Halloween decorations today because they know many are not around on the weekends. There are jack o lanterns all around and pretty orange and yellow flowers on the tables. The windows are covered in "spooky" holiday clings and the kittehs are dressed in costume. We have hot apple cider and apple donuts. The buffet is full and kittehs are waiting for love. Stop in before you start your day. Happy Friday!

Hi MC & SOM, BOO!!!! Did I scare ya? I'll have a large glass of hot apple cider and an apple donut. Maybe the cider will help me sleep when I finally get to bed, but who needs an excuse for cider.

It is so humid today in Cent. Fla. The mist kissed my face when I got the morning papers today. We walk in about 15 mins. It is going to be quite a damp walk. Check in with y'all later. Have a great BOO day!

Evening, MS, and morning Av, SOM and MC... I have been staying up watching "Supernatural", the apocalypse is coming... again... Very appropriate for this time of year!
I will have an apple doughnut or two and a big fat caffe latte, please! I do not think we will get many trick-or-treaters out in my neck of the woods if the weather keeps up raining and hailing...

Yay, HRH is finally in. I heard a wee noise at the door and when I checked there she was. She has learned to bump the door gently to let me know that she is ready to come in for the night. Smart cat, doesn't like to miss her cosy warm bed, although tonight she's sleeping solo as Airy is tucked up at Meegz place probably with Ruby & Lucky snuggled up with her. I'm off to bed now too, have a great day all.

OMG! I totally forgot to mention! I am in "costume" today at work! I look ridiculous! I may be brave enough to post a picture later. I am "Apple Dumpling" from the Strawberry Shortcake series. I look like a blob in a potato sack really! LOL

Awww, MC, I bet you look adorable! Apple dumplings, pies and crumbles, shortcake and anything appley are some of my favourite things in all the world! What is sweeter, fresher and more wholesome than an apple? I would love to see a piccy (but only if you feel brave enough). I bet everyone who sees you is smiling and in a nice way :)

Just a sec to say hi! Maddie just got up...We had to let Abbie cry it out last night..that was hard...she woke up more than once, so I was up all night with both girls then crashed on the couch till 8, then jumped in the shower. I hope everyone has a wonderful day.
No costume here today but I promise I will take pictures of the girls tomorrow as they trick or treat and share them with my TDK family. I love you all.Happy Birthday Siobhan!!!!!!!

Morning on this Pre-Halloweenie Day! Need to go out to feed the birds, change their water in the birdbath, pick-up the newspaper and its oold out there....no hail or snowstorms like in NZ but downright chilly here.
MC, one you are doing them a service by making them laugh, two I love the Strawberry Shortcake crew (still have a couple of the little smelly rubber figuerines from when my girls were small about 30 yrs ago, and they still smell :P )

Happy Halloween Weekend to all! A toast to MC as Apple Dumpling with an apple donut & Black Java...I sort of like being festive in holiday attire but not the extent of a costume but it was too warm to wear my halloween vest today. Smoochies to the cute orangie kit still carving the Boo Pumpkin in the corner. A great Friday to all!

Hi,everyone! The snow has finally stopped! At least, for now, we have another round coming this weekend, but it is only supposed to affect the mountains. We ended up with a good 2 feet of snow in our yard with drifts over that amount. I can't even see the birdbath because of the lilacs being weighted down with so much snow that they are covering the birdbath. Richard got a call from another painter who needs help to finish a job today and he dug out the work van and just left - I hope he doesn't have much trouble getting home tonight. As I said our neighborhood doesn't get plowed often, and in the past he has had to leave the van a few blocks away and walk home from there.
