alright, yesterday my mom called the vets office, and they told her she has lymphoma (like non-hogkins lymphoma) in both her right and left nasal tubinates, as well as the choanal mass. they are taking her back on tuesday. we dont know how they will find the money for any of this.

I don't want to scare you but,that isn't a good location for any cancer(not that there's any good sight). I lost a sweetheart kitty to that type of cancer (I had to let her go,I mean).
I'm sorry for the diagnosis. My Prayers also for Shadow & your Mom...& of course for you as well. -

We too, lost a cat to the exact same type of cancer. There really was nothing they coudl do for him, as the cancer was right by his eyes and brain. They didn't want him to lose vision and/or have brain difficulties. We made him comfortable, nothing heroic, and when it was time, we let him go home to the bridge. We knew when he couldn't breathe anymore due to the cancer growth he was ready. He lasted nearly a year after diagnosis. Stay strong, you will all make it thru. Hugs to you all!

I hope Shadow has some good quality time still to share with your family, SA. Sometimes all we can do is keep our ailing kits as pain free as possible and then give them the gift of release when the time comes.

Make Shadow as comfortable as possible, and know that when the time comes she will find all sorts of animals at the Bridge who will show her the best places to chase butterflies and squirrels, find the extra-special treats, and spots to lie in the sun when it's time to relax from all the play.

So sorry to hear that news SA. We lost a beautiful cat to skin cancer/brain tumour and few years ago. Just love them well and listen to what they tell you.
