  1. Hey, long time since I've been on here, been busy!

Question for you smart cat meow-mys and daddys:

My 8 week old foster kitten is looking like he is only 3 or 4 weeks old size and weight-wise. He is as lively as a month old kitten and will climb his nursery cage but he is still very tiny. He eats like a moose and is eating the kitten chow provided by the Humane Society...but won't grow. Any ideas?

  3. Has he been checked for worms? If he has them, they are eating his food and leaving him nothing to grow on.

  4. Echoing CBM...it could be worms. If kitty has been wormed, then you may have yourself a runt. There's always a runt in a litter. :)
I have to add...my Spunky was the runt of Prettygirl's litter & at less than 3 yrs.old,he's now a whopping 20 lbs. of locomotive furr on legs.

  5. He is going in on Thursday to the Humane Society (where I foster him from)to be checked out. He has been so small and sickly he hasn't had any vaccines yet due to his ailing health, so worms are a possibility. Thanks for the responces!
