ok i know i havent been on in forever and that is because i've been extreamly busy and i am so stressed out right now i took scooby out today like always and he was just sniffing around and then out of the blue he started trying to attack me he has never done this!! he is a good cat!!he would hiss do all of those cat fight sounds i couldnt move or anything and i was home alone i stayed out there for 3 hours just terrified till they got here and i can honestly say yes i was scared of my own cat and then he goes right up to my brother and lets him pick him up is it just me?? have i done something wrong what is this does anyone know?? oh and he was perfectly fine before hand purring rubbing against me and everything and he is neautured (sorry for the spelling)

It is unfortunate that Scooby scared you and I think I know how you feel, when my son's not neutered cat was outside, he would get aggressive and hiss and growl and I got scratched a few times - the only thing I could think was that he was smelling the scent of another cat ( or even a fox - I have seen them in the yard ) and it was the idea of another animal in "his" territory that would set him off. He would even attack Lela - his cat roommate - and of course she set him straight! I don't know if this would help, but if you can water the grass, plants, etc., before you take him out, so that the scent is washed away or at least weakened, Scooby might not get so aggressive. that actually makes alot of sence now what my brother hasnt told me was their was bobcats out their right were he was sniffing around so yeah mystery solved! lol
