*The Rainbow Bridge kitties welcome the new kitty with purrs. There will be no more pain for the sweet boy, who is quickly settling in to his new home in the spacious green meadow lit up by the huge rainbow that stretches across the sky overhead.*
I'm so sorry, Tigerlily. I pray the pain of this loss fades fast and your grief is quickly replaced by many, many happy memories of your sweet kitty.
*says a prayer for Tigerlily and family*

I'm so sorry, Tigerlily! Our furbabies move into our homes and leave indelible prints on our hearts. It's one of life's conundrums that sometimes what's hardest for us is the kindest thing we can do for them. I, too, have lit a candle for Meow Meow and I know my Sam will be among those who greet him at the Bridge.

Tigerlilly, I am so very sorry. I know what this day has cost you - a broken heart and many tears. Our fur babies bring us so much love, and sometimes, so much heart ache. But you have given Meow Meow the greatest gift at this time. You would not want to have seen him suffer. He has been too much, and too important, a part of your family. It doesn't ease the pain any and I know that. But Meow Meow was so loved, and so loved you. That is ultimately the best gift of all.
Many, many hugs to you and to Meow Meow.

Tigerlilly, my prayers are with you and your family. Please know that Meow-Meow is now free of pain and playing with all the Bridge kitties, grateful that you had the courage to let him go and free him from pain. He will be there to welcome you when the time comes as you both cross the Bridge to peace and God's good grace. Till then, he will be loved and cared for by all our Bridge kitties, and I know my Redford, who is such a healer, will take special care of him as well. I lit a candle for all your family.

Oh, Meow Meow - what a sweet video on your Catster page. There are so many here who love you and love your mama. Would you please give my Bombalurina a kiss and tell her that her mama misses her so much.
Sweet little kitty......

The Wolf leans down to nuzzle the beautiful little orange cat draped across his great paws. The young cat yawns and stretches, and suddenly gazes upwards into the great golden eyes of the Wolf.
"Welcome, MeowMeow!" rumbles the Wolf.
The young cat looks startled for a second, and then smiles at the huge creature. "I know you!" exclaims MeowMeow. "I saw you right before I went to sleep! You were standing with my mommy and my daddy, right behind them! Was that you?"
"Yes," said the Wolf. "When you come to the Meadow, I am the first one you see, and you wake next to me here in this part of Paradise."
"Where are my mommy and my daddy?"
"They will come for you later, dear one. When they come for you, you will cross the Bridge that spans the Brook, and you will live in the Bright Realm."
"Are they coming soon?"
"They will be coming for you in good time," smiles the Wolf. "And time here is different. It is all good, and you will be happy here."
MeowMeow looks down at his legs, so firm and young. He suddenly realizes that nothing hurts at all.
"My mouth! Didn't it used to hurt?" asks the cat.
"Do you remember it hurting?" answers the Wolf, his head cocked and a gentle look on his face.
"I thought it hurt, but now I don't remember. All I remember is...is that I was so loved. Oh, they really loved me!"
"And you are loved still," whispers the Wolf. "You will remember the love beyond all things when you come here. That stays with you forever."
"And now," continues the Wolf, "look at your new friends!"
Joshie, Sultie, Kizzy, Wilbur, Daisy -- they move across the wide meadow, and Bomber and Andy run past on the way to the catmint beds. A clutch of giggling kittens surge over the grass to the Brook -- Binx is still watching for the dragon flies -- Redford and Bob and Tex are gazing into the Brook, fascinated by the gold fish -- Shaddo and Mr. Bug are racing up and down the Tree -- the Autumn Kitten, Misty, Parfait and Missy doze next to Mama Kitty, pink pads curled inward and their breath moving lightly, slowly --
MeowMeow gazes upward, and his strong young limbs move surely through the emerald grass as he runs. Surrounded by these new faces, MeowMeow listens as the laughter and joy stitch through the air. Tomorrow they will feel like they have all been friends forever.
The gold and orange leaves blow across the Meadow and the bird cries swirl above their heads. It is bright and warm, and the white clouds scud across the blue sky.
"Now, play!" whispers the Wolf of Gubbio, and he smiles across the green grass and waving reeds to the Young Man on the Bridge. The Young Man smiles back at His great, shaggy friend.
It is a lovely Autumn morning in the Meadow.

Emma, I have tears running down my face. With such comforting words like those I know all the cats I had as a kid are well and waiting. There are over 20 and I hope each one will remember me. TL, still sending hugs to you.
