   i went to mass the other day and was quite distracted due to the meowing of a kitten. at first i couldn't see where the kitten was and when i finally saw it, it was a cute black kitten! :) i wish i could have taken it home. :( it kept on meowing and i feel sorry because i wanted to take it but woofy (my dog) is not very fond of cats and a friend of mine who was with me when i heard mass told me that someone might be the owner of the kitten. i was even thinking of names for the kitten (like phantom, smoke, ash, shadow - just to name a few of the names that i thought of)

   Awww, but if it was someones kitten it wouldn't be there meowing, it would be at home. People don't take their kitties to church and leave them waiting outside or even inside.

   Next time a mewing black kit crosses your path...take it home with you! Black kits around this time of year mean good luck/"Lucky" as your new pet (according to an old legend)!

   the thing is, the church is located near homes and sometimes people just let their cats out on the street. i know, it's not right.
   i have a classmate who wants a black kitten but her parents wouldn't allow her to take care of one. she has 3 dogs at home.

   i have never thought of black cats as bad luck. i really feel so bad for the little kitten. :( i hope somebody would take care of it.
