The Night Shift office is open, kitties are ready and willing to cuddle and purr in ears. Table is set and in support of Cheri we have a very healthy spread. Salads,cold meats,seared salmon,steamed vegetables,nuts and whole grain rolls followed by fruit and cheese. The fountains are flowing with whatever you desire. Everything in moderation except kitties.

Courgette, sage and havarti fritters
Viva Magazine
* Through the ages
* Thrill of the grill (+recipes)Serves 4
2 courgettes
1/2 cup grated pumpkin
2 eggs
1/2 cup ground almonds
100g havarti cheese, cut into small cubes
Salt and freshly ground black pepper
Olive oil for cooking
Fresh sage leaves
Limes to serve1 Grate the courgettes into a bowl then stir in the pumpkin.
2 Lightly whisk the eggs and add to the vegetables with the almonds. Stir in the cheese and season.
3 Heat the hotplate on the barbecue. Brush with oil then pile spoonfuls of mixture. Top each fritter with a sage leave.
4 Cook for a minute before turning and repeating. Serve hot with a squeeze of lime.

LOL, it is never ending, my laundry has doubled with Airy home, she washes it but I tend to fold it all while sitting watching the TV.

Linda! Hi!! Long time no speak! I am ok, have a blasted headache. See the neurosurgeon again on Thursday. Crossing everything I can cross that it goes well. I forgot to mention I bought Wilma a sweater today. Her fur isn't growing back from her surgery and it is supposed to snow here tonight. They had cat sweaters on clearance at WalMart. She hasn't "allowed" me the pleasure of putting it on yet!!!

I am carrying my camera around with me everywhere I go. Its an orange pumpkin sweater so it will show up nicely against her black fur! Thanks for the drink.

Sorry to have disappeared...getting Maddie to bed...whew...

I am butt tired. It's 8:30 and I feel like it's midnight. I think I will grab a munchie and get to bed at least to relax then to sleep. I pray Abbie sleeps through the night. We have started putting music on in her room at night and tonight I used some lotion on her that helps baby sleep...with lavender in it. Helped Maddie so I hope it helps her :)

I'll pass that on Linda. Mum's doing fairly well, having an off day today but perked up when I went up to help her harvest broad beans earlier. She overdid it riding around on the local bus routes yesterday. Senior citizens get to ride free during off peak hours and she and a friend have lovely days out, stopping off at cafes for a meal.
