   With all the back ground put in place for this book does it sound like a typical southern small town (obviously without the murders) or do you think it is all just a little "too simple"?

   I don't know about southern but I did think if captured the flavor of small towns. I grew up in a western small town and I could see a resemblance. I think some characters were probably stereotyped but it doesn't matter in this genre.

   If this town exists I would love to live there. I hope someday to live where neighbors actually care about each other and look out for trouble.
