   And yet another good reason to microchip your pets, even if they aren't outside animals. If the company hadn't reported that the scan was done, the poor lady would never had gotten her doggie back.

   I agree about the microchip, but it also shows you can't just CALL the pound, you have to go there in person, and more than once. This woman was very lucky.
