  1. I'm up again getting sick from the migraine (yeah, I know, thanks for sharing!). I need something to heal this migraine so I can go to work tomorrow! I'm up for an all-liquid night shift lounge! There's gotta be something in those magical fountains that will make me feel better :-) So the kitties have all the fountains flowing and are purring softly for me. Lights are low and the music is soft jazz at a very low volume. Me and a dozen purries are heading back to bed. Please enjoy a nice drink and offer up your suggestions for migraines (quietly, please). I'll check later if my eyes can handle it! Enjoy your evening everyone. Hopefully tomorrow will be a better day! Jetta says thanks for the kind thoughts and prayers and ideas for my meowmy! She loves me a lot!

  2. I am having a sympathy headache for you Lainey. As far as my headaches go, there is NOTHING that helps them. Scientists don't know why but nothing helps. Just good meds to knock me out so I let my body rest. What's funny is Chiari headaches have been measured to be some of/if not the most severe headaches known to man. (yay for me huh?). My mom lays in a quiet room, with a warm compress on her head, no noise and my other kitty Molly alongside her to recover. Ironically, tomorrow is the BIG DAY! My neurosurgeon visit. I am very reflective tonite. Another craniotomy? 5 days in a drug induced coma to allow the fluid to drain from my brain? Watch and see? Nothing? I am all over the map with my emotions. I know my head hurts, I know my head leaked, I know I need to do something. I also know I need to keep my job, I need a paycheck (no more vacation time for AMY!), I need my health. If anyone can sneak in a prayer for me and Lainey and Tigerlilly tonight before bed, I think we would all be thankful. Hugs and love to my family!

  3. Evening/afternoon Lainey & MC. I'm just popping in briefly, done the shopping and now I have to put it all away and then scoot out again.
I hope both your heads ease up and give to a break soon. Lainey I'll join you in a drink at the fountain while I sort groceries.
MC, fingers crossed for your visit to the NS tomorrow.

  8. Wow...sorry for all those w/headaches. I just got rid of one after having it for 5 days. So, I know how your feeling. It hurt to stand but, the pain was so bad that it caused nausea when laying down. Couldn't win. With drapes all drawn closed, lots of high dose Motrin (w/a few vicodin thrown in for good measure) & was finally relieved of it by day 5.
Wish I knew what to recommend but, everyone is so different when it comes to them...
Your all in my Thoughts & Prayers.

  9. Evening AV, CM & Feral. I bought zucchini and pumpkin but forgot the ground almonds so I could try those fritters too. Will have to make a special trip just for the ground almonds. They definitely fit into my can/can't list.
    Sweet dreams to you all.

  10. Lainey, I am so sorry you are suffering. I, have not ever had them, but do sympathize with those of you who get them. I am sorry for your pain and the other symptoms that come with them.

MC, still watching you and hope you feel better soon.

MS, hope all is well with you. AV, good to see you as well, hope your day tomorrow goes well.

Cm, good to see you too and glad all is well in the house. A belated thanks for the pics of the kids at Halloween. My grandkids were ladybugs too. Will send the pics over the weekend.

Hey Feral, glad you are feeling better and hope things are well in your neck of the woods. Love to all the kittys.

Going off to watch the NY and PH game. We shall see. Hope your team wins!

    Later.

  11. Ooofff - Mr. WWM is on a Tudors marathon in preparation for receiving season three in December. I wonder if he noticed that I snoozed through a great deal of it tonight? Hopefully my snoring didn't give me away. I think that the antibiotics that I'm taking for my stupid, stupid knee injury are making me feel tired. Well, that's my story and I'm sticking with it.

Hugs to you Lainey, MC and all who might feel out of sorts tonight. I wish I could plaster a Hello Kitty bandaid on your heads and make it all better.

I'm off to bed - not that I haven't already been asleep. Sweetest dreams and may tomorrow be a better day for everyone.

  13. Hmmm, well that last posting didn't work. Wonder if this one will....

So sorry to hear about your poor heads, Lainey and MC. Headaches are so debilitating and migraines are hideous, I know. I hope you both wake up feeling refreshed and totally without pain. {{{Lainey & MC}}} I hope everyone else gets a good night's sleep too, and wakes up feeling much better.

Just here for a bit, reading the back threads...

  14. Evening Jcat, just in reading backposts too then off to bed. All the fireworks have stopped now and Shadz settled down on the warm bonnet of the car. She was a little unsettled by the noise but used it as an excuse to cuddle up on my shoulder for a while. How are Libby & Jasper doing tonight?

    Posted 2 years ago by Moonshadow_NZ #

  15. Ohmigoodness, I forgot it was Guy Fawkes night. Usually there are a few fireworks round here but I haven't heard or seen a thing all evening. I have had the front door open all day (it's still open) and Libs and Jasper have been in and out, no one's rushed in in a panic so I think they're all right. In fact they've both come in now demanding food so I better go and feed them.

I wonder whether the fireworks are being saved for the weekend. Eek -- hope not! There's usually a big display in Masterton at Henley Lake.

Posted 2 years ago by jcat #

  16. I bet most people are saving them for the weekend. We are but taking them out of the city and into an area without farm animals either. Shadz had a bad experience some years ago with Guy Fawkes, she was down in the gully and the fireworks were being launched above her for over 2 hours. Now she knows the sound and stays close to home when she hears fireworks. She's not distressed, just a bit unsettled. Wants mummy cuddles.

    Posted 2 years ago by Moonshadow_NZ #

  17. Oh, poor darling. I wish Libby would want mummy cuddles, it's a sure way to send her running for the door, is to pick her up and smooch her...

  18. Time I headed off to bed now. Sweet dreams Jcat and I'll catch you tomorrow.
Oh, there you are. Thought you had been whisked off by aliens, goodnight, sleep tight and mind the kitties don't bite.

  19. Sorry, MS, I am emailing back and forth with work -- it's about morning tea time over there now and we are having work conversations... Sleep tight, sweet dreams and hope Shadz provides some more cuddles! Take care!

  20. Morning all!.... Cuddles and Abby always HATE fireworks!.... both ususally spend New Years and 4th of July under the beds...... ravioli lasgana turned out good last night, what an easy receipe!...... heading to the shower, must prepare a "budget" today for the coming year - STUPID financial officer had the gaul to tell me previous years budgets had no relevance when I asked him for copies to analyze - I think he just doesn't have them......oh well, I can pull up stats on line, just more work for me!
