Visited the northwest (Washington and Oregon) a few years ago. Great trip and nice people. Loved the coastal areas of both states; the Colorado river gorge; waterfalls; rain forest; mountains and everything else except the traffic in Seattle. You can keep that.
People from Michigan are called Michiganders or Michiganians. I prefer Michiganders. My friend from the Upper Penninsula (UP) calls me a troll because I live "under the bridge" (meaning the Mackinaw Bridge or Big Mac). SHE thinks it's funny. She is also a cat lover; her cats are named Mello and Paris.Posted 4 years ago by williamsweyr #

Lady Valkyrie . . . Lady Viking! My closest neighbor is actually across the road, probably about 700-800 feet away. It is a rural area though and on "my mile," there are only 13 houses (12 with people in them) so it's peaceful. SO...you're in California??? I lived in King City and the Monterey area back in the early 70's (military wife then).
