Good Morning/Afternoon/Evening friends...
Cafe is catered today by Cracker Barrel, Bob Evans, and Dunkin Donuts :)
Good Nights sleep for me..Yay!!! I even got up at 6, did some ordering online of Christmas and stamps..
I feel good...I am going to try to make some cookies with Maddie today. I think she would have fun. I bought 3 kinds of sprinkles so she can decorate them and some cookie cutters..gives us something to do on a chilly November day.
How is everyone today?

I would like a DOZEN of those 500 caloried EACH Pumpkin Donuts from DD. I am so nervous about the neurosurgeon today I can hardly type. Why? I don't know what he will say. Maybe nothing. I have read so many neurology journals lately my head hurts. Thank goodness I still have me ability to access them from my time at Rehab Institute of Chicago. Its not the greatest situation to be in (leaking fluid), not the most common (<5%), but it can heal itself. Maybe mine will and I have to give it time. Think of me please. Oh and a tall glass of ice cold milk and all the agency kittehs to snuggle. I am being a little selfish this morning! LOL

Morning one and all, hope that everyone is on the mend and that you have a good day.
Vegged most of yesterday, didn't feel well at all. Plus trying to be there for a very dear friend whose young cat, Ranger had to have his hind leg amputated Tuesday. Ranger is doing fine and will do alright as a tripod kitty, being less than 2 yrs old he has the energy to overcome anything.

Hi! Hugs for Ranger, Deb! MC, take some deep breaths and you'll do okay when she see the neurologist. We'll all be here for you. CM, glad you had a good night and baking cookies sounds like fun when you have someone ready to help decorate (and I'll bet she be happy to do taste-testing for you, too).

Morning all! I would love a cream donut today - bring on the sugar! Thinking of you today MC and of little Ranger. It amazes me how cats adapt to 3 legs.
Have a great day everyone - positive thoughts!Posted 2 years ago by JoanfromNewJersey #

MC and Ranger in my thoughts as well today!
Both girls are up and had to get breakfast :)
I am excited that I have Wayne done for Christmas and I am waiting for Black Friday to go out with my nieces and shop :) The girls only need a few more things.Posted 2 years ago by cricketsmama #

Morning ladies :) Everyone have a wonderful morning in your travels, ok even at w***.
Yes Ranger is an amazing little guy, he was 'demanding' head butts and actually trying to jump to the chair from the table last night.
MC, you are in my thoughts today, you are such a strong spirited woman I admire you.

Happy Birthday to your granddaughter Katt!! wow..double digits :)
I love to shop...love it..crowds not so much..but I get such a high on that day to shop..I take my time..I am not a rush rush girl on that day...get what I want/need and just know it will take longer than usual. I am usually by myself but my 2 nieces decided to drive over to my house and we can all go together then do breakfast afterwards. Heather is 38 and has 3 kids..one about to go into college and Catie just turned 24..no kids, but loves to shop on that day too. We should have a great time.Posted 2 years ago by cricketsmama #

I love shopping on Black Friday too, Jen, but I avoid Target like the plague! People there get absolutely RABID about getting into the store. They yell at each other, they shove, they run into each other's carts.... that kind of energy I avoid.
I enjoy going south to Shipshewana to shop. Tourist trap during the summer, but there are some delightful shops that stay open for the holidays.
Much of my shopping has gone online too. Much easier. No long waits in checkout lines :-)

Greetings to all from sunny but cool M'waukee on a yay it is already Thursday!

Russian Blue baker kit! Sending healing positive thoughts where needed and wishes for all to have a good day wherever you roam! PS...shopping isn't my thing either...Gift Cards when needed is the usual for we all have so much stuff! Get your own stuff with a gcard! -
Can I say CHEESE? I was feeling sorry for myself after the neurosurgeon's visit so I went to Panera to get myself some soup and their new BBQ Chicken Salad. I was pleasantly surprised to find they have a new offering: Vermont White Cheddar Mac and Cheese! Got that instead of the salad! It was heaven!!!! Wilma would agree, she licked some cheese off the lid. Betty took a lick of the container when I was done. We were all happy!

Afternoon/evening all. Beautiful sunny day here, a bit windy. I've been busy helping Mum make beds for a whirlwind visit from her sister and chatting to KK who is having a sh***y day at work. Pass me a strong drink too please.
Deb, Ranger sounds delightful and like he will barely miss his leg. Mr MS and his brother both had tripod dogs, farm accidents. Even though the dogs were well into adulthood they never seemed to notice they were missing a leg. They were great on hillsides as long as they were going the right direction.Posted 2 years ago by Moonshadow_NZ #

Evening AV, animals don't have the hang ups that us humans have. They don't worry about what the 'others' will think of them looking different.

yummm..... I just read "gorgonzola" stuffed olives!.... (I'll take some with a side of smoked almonds).......
Hubbs made me laugh today, while I was at work, he was going in and out of the back apartment where Son's cats live, and apparently during one trip "Venus" got out and he didn't notice....... next time he went in/out, he said he heard this loud "meowing" in the bushes next to the front door, and there was Venus, looking at him and screaming at the top of her little kitty lungs..... he said he scooped her up and made sure she got back inside.... now everytime he heads for the door, Venus is at his heels, hoping to "make a break for it" again!... LOL silly kitty
