-Well, VH (dairy I work for) got into the buyout. Their cows will be leaving 15 days from today for slaughter. They are going to induce as many cows as they can so they can get the calves out of them before that so we will be getting 26 calves (if all goes well thats the # of heifers they will be able to get). They still don't know what they are going to do but I will still most likely have a job for 1-2 months.
-A school in the county I live in is on fire. They are hoping they will at least be able to save the 1st story though there will be lots of water and smoke damage in it. The fire started on the roof at 1am this morning...the school is a bit over 100 years old and there are 600 students that go there.
-H1N1 has been confirmed in a cat.
-Maggie hasn't eaten for 2 days and has been syringe fed. She is still very hyper and is pooping yet so I think she may be teething.
However, God is in control :)
-When our families farm quit we immediatly were able to get a job working for VH. God worked it out last time, he'll work it out this time :)
-Another school in the county just built a new building and moved into that this year. The old school is sitting empty and though it might be a bit cramped they could have school in there.
-The school I go to has been the least affected from H1N1 in this county. Hopefully we can keep it that way and I won't get it or spread it to my cats.
-Maggie is still very hyper and loves to be syringe fed.
