   Goo dmorning everyone!

   Kittehs are yawning and stretching. Today we have, i nhonor of my Hermes' 6th birthday tomorrow, Silver-Shaded American Shorthairs are doing all the duties of fixing a plethora of breakfast noms fit for feline and humans!

   We have tables piled high with salmon fritters and mousie omelettes for our kitties, and catering by Bob Evans for the hooomans!

   Beautiful gray and black and silver kittehs are rushing about, making sure all the tableware, floral decorations, and beverages are ready for us!

   Good Morning! I am back at work for another day of fun. Pray for me, I have to talk with my boss about my surgery. She is none too happy. Unfortunately Illinois is an "at will" state and I can be released of my duties at any time for any reason. I think I will go throw up and then start my day. Hugs to all!

   Hi, Everyone! I'm just making a quick stop in the cafe to grab a cup of tea before we head to the airport. I'll try to keep up with the news while I'm gone and will be able to post a little bit, I hope.

   Have a wonderful day and please keep our soldiers who were wounded yesterday, those who lost their lives, and all of their families in your very special prayers today.

    Hi all! Just sent Bobby through the worm hole directly to WWM's ship. I got home too late from GG's this morning to get him to her house on time.
    GG and I had some of the birthday cookie cake I baked him for his birthday last night and it was very good. I'm relieved! GG was so impressed I baked for him and he even took a couple of pictures of it before we cut into it :)

    MC, it sucks that you're having to have another surgery. Hopefully after this one you'll be 100%.
    I think FF is just trying to cheer you up by being so positive. He's a good guy!

    Siobhan, the cookie making was fun..Maddie was so excited..they turned out..well okay..we made Wayne eat one..he did it cheerfully. They weren't bad, but I put icing on some to put sprinkles on them so he thought it was too sweet :) She got her hands in the dough and helped me mix it and worked with the cookie cutters too.

    That's so cute, CM, you and Maddie baking. I have wonderful memories of baking with my mom when I was a kid.
    As for GG and I, so far so good. I looked at the calendar this morning to see how long we've been going out. I was surprised to see it's only been 2 months and about a week - and he was away for nearly 2 weeks, too.

    The landlord fogged the place on Wednesday and I haven't seen any bugs since then. After all I've read about bed bugs, though, I doubt it'll be as easy as that to get rid of them, though. At least I stay at GG's and some pet-sitting houses every now and then so I'm not in the car every night.
    If I get the morning hours at the gym as well as the night ones, I'll move to some place without bed bugs.

    GD, someone told me you might want to try a cot...like an army cot. They aren't real comfortable, but prob more than a car seat! They are only made of canvas, so bed bugs can't get into...it's not like fabric. The only issue would be blankets (which they would get on/in). You might get one cheap at an army/navy store. Hope you get this solved soon...the boys must be most unhappy (and you too!)
