I figure today's a good day to open up the roller rink for breakfast this morning; the snack bar is cooking up some goodies, and the pro shop is open if you need to modify whack-bonk sticks to get the health insurance industry off their @$$e$ and start paying for treatments people need. On the menu is apple/chicken sausage, beef sausage, kielbasa, bacon, steak (no filet mignon [sorry]; it's round steak), croissants, scones, muffins, buttermilk biscuits with sausage gravy, grass-fed eggs, grits with butter and red-eye gravy, oatmeal, brown rice with raisins and maple syrup, Cream of Wheat, fruit juice, tea, coffee, and vegetable juice blend. Pumpkin's taking it easy; she had been sneezing for the past few days, but now it seems she's back to normal. There will be 'mommy music' (Cheesy Listening) playing on the sound system until I can figure out where Pumpkin hid the fun music. If we have to go to Chicago to make sure Amy (MollyCat) gets the best in medical care, so be it.

Morning Vicki!..... begins to pack bags for emergency trip to Chicago..... includes pots and cooking utensils in case "homemade" soup is necessary..... *awaits* call that cyper-bus is on the way.....
..... I'll take a nice egg/cheese sami this morning ..... last night was "date night" with Hubbs... we went and saw the new "A Christmas Carol" in IMAX, then to a tapais bar for a bite and a glass of wine......we had so much fun!.... busy day planned to day, cleaning and setting up office building to host Thanksgiving lunch on Monday for employees..... should be fun!

I'm working, then meeting a friend for tea at Panera and if the weather holds up, playing tennis with XBF this afternoon and probably seing GG tonight. I really, really need a nap!Happy birthday, Hermes!!!! :)

Went to the Hornets (BBall) game last nite with some of my Muses krewe friends - they lost *sigh*. However, we did make it onto the jumbo-tron during one of the time-outs! That was cool! The fact that we were waving our pink feather boas like fools may have had something to do with it! Today is catch up on work and home chore days... before and after the LSU-Alabama game of course... wish me luck!

Count Miss Leela and me in as well! Leela brought her skates to the rink and my whack-bonk stick is freshened up and ready for action at a moment's notice.
It's a nice fall Saturday here in North Joisey. Hubby raked leaves and I unloaded bags of stuff that I don't know what to do with from my truck. Winter's coming and I will be driving my 4WD so I need to turn it from a shed back into a truck (I drive a more gas-efficient car in non-icy weather). Now all this stuff is in my living room - mocking me. I will be attacking it soon! Much of it I will be able to take to the battered women's shelter and some of it will be suitable for me to donate to our local animal shelter. How is Amy doing today? The CyberHummer is right outside the cafe, so you can stash your stuff in there, and the keys are on the hook by the DJ station. And an agency kitten just handed me a cup of cafe au lait. Vicki, you're a wonderful hostess.

Hi everyone! Jetta is ready to rush through the worm-hole and join the party. She put glitter all over herself and will take meowmy's emerald and garnet whack-bonk stick, too (meowmy will come later.. she's cleaning, a la Cheri and inspired by Joan, too!) Meowmy has been trying to put petite little diapers on Jetta for the party but she will have none of that! Hopefully some special agency kits will be there to help clean up her "accidents." Okay, meowmy back to work and Jetta through the hole! Have a ball, Amy, you deserve it! See ya in a few hours!

..... Cuddles pulles out her "favorite" MuMu (the pink one with little palm trees on it)...
...."Here we are all"..... hope these "tuna/salmon appetizers that Momma made will add to the party!.... How is MC and what can we do?.....

Oh my! It's not a good thing to have a quiet rink! We know it's quiet on the weekends, but my goodness! Looks like this is gonna have to be one heck of a blowout and go all weekend! Jetta has found a dark and quiet place and is taking a power nap to get ready for a good time (as much as a distinguished seasoned citizen kitty can have!) soon! Meowmy, in the meantime, being filled with caffeine and nice visit from honey is going back to cleaning the house! C'mom everyone! Let's rally 'round our family member and her girls!
