   Almost missed this one Dee...What on earth possesses a cat to put a needle in it's mouth and then swallow???? Bet that won't ever happen again! =O

   Pretty amazing, eh? I used to work with a girl whose cat did the exact same thing...only the needle lodged in her throat and was not found until a couple weeks later...kitty recovered nicely.

   How scary!! What a wonderful lady for rushing kitty to the vet even thought she didn't show any signs. Beautiful kitty!!!

   I have to say...cats have helped me keep little things like these from lying around. I don't mind Miss Leela feeling as though all pens belong on the floor, but generations before her have taught us to keep things like needles, rubber bands, etc, in drawers.
   I'm so glad this story has a happy ending - cats can be so resilient! This kitty's mama has great instincts.
