   My old Bobby is back!
   I've been weaning him off the pheno and we're now down from 1.5 pills a day to only 1/2 a pill. In two weeks, I'm taking him off completely.

   I can't believe the change I'm seeing in him! He's so much more active, he plays, he sucks on the blanket (well, a towel, since we had to throw out all our blankets). His fur is nice and fluffy like it used to be and he's eating a bit less and looking so handsome!

   I guess I never really realized how the pheno was affecting him, because it was so gradual.
   Part of me feels bad for drugging him like that for the last year and more, but mostly I'm just happy to have my boy back.
   Now we've got to hope he doesn't have any more seizures. So far so good!

   Don't feel guilty, GD, you were doing the very best thing for Bobby at the time, as you always do! I hope he never has to go on the drugs again too! Sending masses of healing energy to prevent those nasty seizures!

   Thanks, all!
   Here's Bobby. He came up to suck on the towel today with me and fell asleep. He never sleeps next to me! I was so excited, I didn't move for the 45 minutes he slept - except to take the picture. I'm under the towel, by the way :)

    GD, I had no idea Bobby had been so sick on the pheno. I'm glad he's getting back to his wonderful self. I can't wait to see the pictures. Tell him Auntie HM loves him lots and give him and his brother hugs and scritches from me.

    Will do, HM. He wasn't sick really, from the pheno, it was just really knocking him out. He wasn't very active and just slept most of the time. I hadn't noticed how lethargic he was getting until I started weaning him off and saw this old Bobby emerge. I decided to stop the pheno because he hasn't had a seizure in over a year and I was afraid of it harming his liver. If he has another seizure, I'll put him back on the stuff but I'm leaning toward the seizures being caused by the Nutro food and since he's no longer eating that, I'm hoping he'll be fine.
    Bobby says hi and thank you to all his TDK aunties and uncles :)

    HM, Bobby is very excited about your trip. I told him it'll be too cold to wear his pink speedo and he told me he'll just wear it under his big coat.
    XBF just stopped by to drop something off and he mentioned how much perkier Bobsky looks - yay :)

    I didn't know this about your Bobby but I'm so glad to hear he is doing well being weaned off the meds and is coming back to his normal self. Prayers this will be successful and many happy and healthy years for him!

    Thanks, Lainey. Bobby has been on pheno since he had two seizures 6 weeks apart late last summer. Luckily he hasn't had one since.
