  12. The warm fuzzy part of the story is that she has a safe home and the loving care she was denied by heartless owners only interested in profit.

    While I love the concept and the beauty of the Savannah and other cross species mixes, this is the dark heart that makes me want to scream "STOP the insanity! Don't feed the cycle of abuse these profiteers engender for vanity or wish fulfillment."

    All you see on the breeders sites are glowing tales of success and pictures of healthy pets. You don't see the failures and discards.

    Look at little Melvin and he is not an out-cross to another species.
