I know most African Americans have Caucasian ancestors somewhere in their gene pool, but I'm not quite seeing the resemblence between this woman and the First Lady; even a century and a half diluted, I'm not fully buying it. God bless her if she and the First Lady are indeed cousins, but am I missing the resemblence?

  3. They probably are cousins. If you guys look up Bruce Crump from Molly Hatchet and see what he looks like, you know he looks nothing like me. But we are cousins, the Crump side of the family researched it and confirmed it. (My dad's mom was a Crump BTW).

  4. There are wild variations out there even in related gene-pools. Plus, you have all the dominant and recessive genes that can express themselves in the (seemingly) unlikeliest places.
    I buy it.

I know of first cousins who are so far different from each other that you would not believe there was in blood in common. I could very well be a cousin, I'm sure the first lady has many, many cousins that will never make "Inside Edition". If she is or isn't doesn't deserve all the media attention...Is she hoping for an invite to the White House??
