My brother just called a bit ago: NO pancreatic cancer! He was misdiagnosed with "acute pancreatitis" when it was just "pancreatitis." It is now acute. The doctor told him he will be closely monitored the rest of his life because he is definitely high risk to develop it but right now he is in the clear! Gave him other things to look for in terms of the health of his pancreas, etc. All I can say, and he asked me to say it for him when I finally explained our little family: THANK YOU! (will post an update on my dad in a bit)
