   I am sure a few of you have noticed me not posting much. Things have been, let's say strange since before my trip to Vegas in March. Long and short is I have been swamped at work and things never stop. When your boss gets the boot you learn things the hard way but I have yet to drop any balls...***fingers crossed as year end nears***

   First I want to thank MC for doing the Christmas List. I have not yet even had a chance to open it much less work on cards...maybe they will be Easter cards...LOL

   Second, as it was a year ago last week that I lost my father I been a little depressed...well things got a little worse the actual anniversary date. That day my mom got news that she has stage 2 lung cancer. It is not tied to the breast cancer she had last year so that is good but now it is a waiting game and I am 4 states away from her...feeling a little useless.

   Third, GOOD NEWS...all the babies are doing great and have grown into their personalities...some WAY more than others.

   Fourth, Thank you all for listening, I don't like for people to always read bad news but sometimes it helps to just get it all out...

   Hi Alicia! I'm sorry about your mom {{hugs}}. I can relate to how busy work can be, but I have several pics of your babies on my screensaver and they always make me smile :) Hope things get better for you soon!

   Alicia you know you are missed. Especially those updates on your crew--those were some lucky kittens to find their way into your home!

   As for you feeling blue--I wish it was easier but it isn't. You have gone a year without a man that was very special to you. Then to top it off you find out about your Mom following so close to the issue of the other cancer. I don't think there is anyone that can not be depressed with that news. Please know you are in my thoughts and prayers. You and Karma'sDad and your Mom and all the kittehs!

   Did you catch what I did with your book---at least you aren't an idiot like me!

   Not sure I did but I can't believe I suggested a book that didn't have a study guide of some kind...I'm still trying to read the Three Weeks with My Brother...wow that one has me slow reading...

   thanks everyone...I just need to get back on the horse so to speak and get going...

   One thing I have figured out this year...I am an emotional eater and after the first of the year that has to stop...get me through the holidays...

   Was that the next one! I am reading The Hour I First Believed--Lord I need help knowing what I am doing! I read that one--I'm with you it was slow for me too. I am unfortunately an emotional eater as well. Keep the ice cream out of the house--it almost works for me!

    no...that was the last one...I have not even started the next one...the one you are reading...think I will skip it and wait for the next list. Maybe I'll ready Twilight series again or get the last Harry Potter read...

    I had suggested Dashing Through the Snow for December--thought it would be a great Christmas read. It is a Mary Higgins Clark mystery--it really is an easy read.
