  1. I have three cats Spark, Plug and Gasket. They are mother (2yrs), father (2yrs) and son (14wks). Plug is huge and lazy and Gasket is a vary hungry growing youngster and they always push Spark away from her food even if they have there own bowls full. I feed them in different rooms but she will not eat her food until the guys have eaten there own, some of hers and gone to sleep. She is so subservient that it worries me. does anyone have any ideas please?

  3. I had the same thing for quite a while with my 3. I continued to separate them at mealtime. Little Betty was put in another room, closed off and fed in a dish just for her. I finally had to keep her in the room with her food until she ate. After about a week of spending most of the day alone, I tried it again. She doesn't always hold her own at the dish, but she does quite often and will just circle around till she can get to the food around the kitty with the wide rear end...LOL

  4. I agree to feed her seperately. Crockey is a chow cat & will eat Dots if she is not around. They each have their own bowl in different areas! (I know she/Dot is spoiled but she is my 13 yr old princess cat & Crockey is the newbie!)

  5. Awwww...poor little Gasket (hahaha...love the names you've picked). I also feel that seperate feeding stations for them can be very helpful. Cats can become very attached to their own feeding areas and don't want to eat anywhere else or don't want others to feed in their own. Good luck with everyone. Let us know how things go. =)

  6. She is being a mom-won't eat until her kitten is finished. Just make sure there is enough left for her when the others are done.

  7. Hi Brad, welcome to TDK :o)

Those names are brilliant! I love unusual names, and those are so funny. I can't really add to the other advice, but wanted to say hi to a new UK TDKer!
