Found a kitten tonite, she is couple months old.
Her gums are white, very dehdrated, cold, and was doing the "dying yeowl" a few minuutes ago.
She got a 1/2 ounce wellness wet food (high calorie), 50cc fluids, and trying to keep her warm.
Please pray she lives. I Would very much appreciate it.

Oh, FF50, you have all my hopes for this poor baby. If anyone can save her, you can. Sending masses of healing energy for her and many {{{HUGS}}} to you. Whether she makes it or not, she is with the right person.

She's still alive but barely. She slept on me most of the night so if I don't make much sense the rest of the day its cause I barely slept lol!
Her gums are still really white - I think she is anemic so really not much I can do for her. I gave her some chicken liver last night b/c its high in iron and she did really good for about an hour after having it but won't have anymore.

FF50, this kitten really needs to see a vet if she's going to survive. She probably needs to have the fleas eliminated quickly, needs to be de-wormed, and needs to get a high-calorie wet diet like SD AD into her. If she can be kept warm, out of shock, hydrated & fed, she could survive!

The odd thing is that she has no fleas at all. Also no vets are open at this time of morning (7:45).
I think she probably got hit by a car and that caused internal bleeding. She was right next to the road when I found her but was sitting up...she may have been barely hit but that is enough to mess things up inside her.
But she is warm (on my lap with two rice filled socks), giving worm meds when she is this sick is much more harmful than helpful. She has gotten high calorie wet food (wellness NOT sd, its actually higher in calories and she has gotten lots of fluids). Its really up to her if she wants to live and honestly she seems to have given up fighting.

If she truly was hit by a car & suffered internal injuries she is most likely in alot of pain. I think forcing anything more on her until she gets to a vet is only prolonging the pain.
Of course I am sending Prayers & Healing Light to the little one. Why can't people be more observant on the roadway,especially at night.
Poor baby--Bless you for trying to help her. It sounds like she's in pain, but I pray she recovers. Sometimes it's out of our hands.......

To answer Mojo's question: I got peed on a few times last night, she also pooped once.
She died this morning on the way to the vet :( RIP Grace.
